Chapter 39: Unspoken Prophecy

The soft melody of a flute, gentle filled the snowy terrain of the forest’s border, where a group of elves gathered to present their offering for the spirits to grant them an audience.

The flute’s song continued to play as the sound of drums and strings joined in, creating a beautiful harmony of music. Soon the jingle of bells chimed along as the dancers’ dance with the rhythm of the melody, swaying under the light shower of white snow.

Lady Livian Yesenia, the Great Eleven Priestess of Nature, stood in front of the ritual as she offered a sacred branch to the forest, gently laying it on the pure white snow.

“O great spirits of the Yuver Forest,” she chanted. “O bless us with your presence for we yearned to know thy well-being of her majesty, the beautiful Forest Goddess Yuvera.”

“May our request be granted. In return, I shall personally lend a hand and sacrifice my own life in commitment for thy forest to flourish. Just answer my call, O great spirits.”
