"No." Mayari instantly replied.

"Is there anyway that I could change your mind?" Jim tried to persuade.

"No."

"Do you need to think about it?"

"No."

"Is there any chance I could change your mind?"

"My decision is final." Mayari uttered.

"Bummer." Jim sighed. "I guess you don't need my skills and connections to easily find the mastermind."

"Anyway, that's all the information I have and that's all there is to it." He said. "So farewell, May."

With that, Mayari left the room and was met with Helen and Sir Eyron. Mayari immediately informed them what Jim told her leaving out the detail of the elf's proposal.

If only Jim and Mayari's situation are different, she could have accepted his offer since she rely on information before making a move.

She could do her own findings but that will be her main struggle and will also take longer time due to the fact that she have no connections and have limited knowledge in the current realm she is in.

She could ask her teacher, Ms. Helen, about the Ars
