Lahat ng Kabanata ng Alpha, Prince, Revenge: Which Comes First?: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

For a long time, I've never really liked life. I tried to avoid a lot of things, like wolves, supernatural beings, or worse, my mate. The routine is straightforward: I get up in the morning, check on Alee and make her breakfast, take a bath, get ready for school, go to class, return, check on Alee once more, and then head off to my side job. Work can be chaotic at times, but it's easier if you're used to it. Since that day, my twin, Alee, and I have been living in this manner. We weren't part of a pack, but we also weren't rogues. Although I can now realize how unrealistic that was, my parents wanted us to live like a normal family. My favorite memory is of the times spent with my folks. Prior to my twin, Alee, I was the first child my mother had. Our names weren't picked at random. I was given the name Minty as soon as my mother gave birth. At the time, they believed she was expecting a single child. I entered the world during the height of the full moon. The moon shone down on the la

I was expecting to see guards when I got to the location, which is behind the building that leads to the garden entry, as Anonymous had mentioned, but I didn't. It was entirely empty. I looked up, then shrugged. I only need to find the prince, I thought, but I felt strange. I paused and tried to understand my feelings, but I couldn't. It felt like an elderly woman was stirring a cauldron filled to the brim with purple liquid in my gut. It made me feel as though something bad was about to happen. I knew my gut never lied, so I couldn't back out at this point. If I noticed any indication of danger, I would teleport with it without Dean's help.I carried out the instructions that Anonymous gave us. Unbelievably, the prince was sitting by a pool and gazing at the tranquil water. Bingo! I exclaimed. This is too simple, but the prince stirred and took a whiff of the air before I could reveal myself. I had disguised my scent before I went after him as usual, so he wouldn't be able to smell me

I got ready to teleport back to the garden by getting dressed in what I had, which consisted of my black tunic, my hoody, my combat boots, and a black elastic shirt with a turtleneck. I don't have any knowledge regarding the prince's whereabouts, but I could apply what I've learned in the past. He would be in the same spot in the palace gardens by this time, unarmed. As usual, I disguised my scent before teleporting to his garden. I felt anticipation building in my gut, but I resisted it and concentrated on the task at hand.“I knew you would come back.” I heard a voice.I squealed and spun around, only to see the prince standing there in just a pair of shorts. I couldn't take my eyes off of him, even though shifting without being aware of it is crucial for the full moon if it seizes control. He has the six packs, lean physique, and strong legs that I have overheard girls raving about at school. Even after I've been marveling at his body, I keep coming back to his attractive face becau

Albert's POV Albert paced his room. When he was with Minty, he had tried connecting his brain with hers, exactly what a possessive fae would do, but it hadn't worked. He wanted full control of his mate's mind. It's not that he wanted to control her, but it drove him crazy not knowing where his mate was. He felt like he had thrown his mate to the wild animals to devour. Why was she stubborn? All he saw when he tried to probe her mind a little was that she was still a high school student and that she had a boyfriend. Who is Mason? he thought to himself. He didn't know which high school she attended, and this drove him to pull his hair.He sat on the couch opposite his bedroom window and bit his fingers as he stared at the elaborate curtain his mother had put up only for his window. He remembered what happened. She had shifted in front of him. For her to have shifted, it meant that her wolf accepted him. He had heard about werewolves that don't shift until they find their mate. He had a

Alee was acting unusual as I arranged and cleaned the house. She sat on the floor glaring at me and following me wherever I went with her eyes. She would drag herself on the floor from room to room if I go to a different room and won't move over whenever I want to vacuum an area. She would make a fuss, making grunt-like sounds like a pig and growling whenever I lifted her from her position.  What's gotten into her, I thought.        After I had cleared out every dust and dirt in the house, I turned towards her and said,“How about a game of chess? I will beat you, Alee.” I said.        She growled at me like I had offended her. She rarely says anything and she doesn't contribute to any discussion and sometimes, shows no sign that she's listening. But, she's growling? Is she growing?        It has crossed my mind several times that I find myself consideri
