[5O.1] Lunch

Azians POV I parked the car right ousted Khloe’s villa, still feeling as tired as hell, warn out from everything and anything. It seemed every little thing was bothering the hell out of me today. My mood was dark all the time and I really wanted to hit something. Frustration seemed to ooze out of everything that I did. Kaya had not known what she had done when she sent me away. It seemed like she was a drug, one that Alpha had taken only twice but couldn't stop bitching about. It was strange because I was used to being so worn out but since I had tasted what it meant to be whole, being taken from that source again was worse than the first time. I would have much rather curled back in bed, but my room was a wreck and Abigail was yelling her head off at me for ruining the house. Even with magic, it would take some time to repair. Omega would have been done in a few minutes but he wasn’t exactly in the mood to repair anything, so Abigail would have to do it.

[51.1] Tables that Turn

Kaya’s POV "Kaya, Isn’t it?" Azian asked me. My eyes fluttered up to him, feeling enchanted by them, my heart beating softly within its cage. He was really talking to me, like the flesh.  He really knew who I was, he knew my name. I don’t know why these were the first thoughts that rummaged my brain. I was feeling nervous and my heart refused to ease itself and give me a break. My body stiffened and I knew there was no way to avoid him. It would be much too weird if I didn't look at him for the whole dinner much less say a word. I just had to keep reassuring myself that everything that had been happening the past two nights was not real, no matter how lifelike they had seemed It had all been a dream. Nothing like that could happen in real life. My eyes steadied on that gorgeous face of his and watched as that faint familiar smirk appeared on his lips. Almost like a taunt. The moment I looked at him was like I was back to

[52.2] A Nameless Book

Abigail watched the two people in front of her curiously, trying to block out the sound of Ena sipping her coffee. Her gaze zeroed in on the couple that was sitting a few tables away from them right by the window of the coffee shop, conversing deeply with each other. “See how they keep touching each other?" Ena asked leaning back in her chair, the taste of coffee lingering on her lips as she patted her lips dry with a napkin. Anna’s gaze shifted from the couple to Ena before refocusing on the couple. She noticed the love in their eyes, similar to a one she had once experienced years ago. "That's Marianne and Drakel, a werewolf couple" Mariah explained, "They come for the meetings at times. See Marianne is a rare hybrid, half-witch half-wolf, and Drakel is her mate. That’s what makes them unique." "But the history is not of importance" Ena began eyeing her little sister calmly, she turned back to Anna And Abigail who were seated opposite them, "I know

[53.1] Somethings Wrong

Abigail’s eyes were set attentively on the pancakes she was making, flipping them over until their sides were a golden brown, switching over to the next plate where she had scrambled eggs frying on a pan next to it. With a satisfied hum, she took them out of the stove, before placing a full plate of breakfast before Edwin Edwin grinned at the sight ignoring Alessia usual taught, after all, she didn't have a dragon to feed. "Thank you, Abigail,” "Orion's got to eat something,” She coed brushing past Anna who place an equally large cup of coffee before him Anna sighed, satisfied with the setup before checking the time on her watch, glancing upstairs, “where’s Azian? If he takes any longer he will have to miss breakfast and head straight to school," she huffed, placing a hand on her waist. Edwin paused as he savored the taste of chocolate-dipped pancakes, " hmm, let me check on him,” he offered reluctantly ignoring Orion who was begging him to co

[54.1] Let Me in (part-one)

Kaya’s POVI reached for my towel, wrapping it around my body, and then dried my hair with the other towel, before towering it up and walking out of the room. After I changed into my pajamas, I ventured into Texting Ally for a while, before quitting and deciding it was high time to rest.Sleep came easily tonight. I slept well. I think I vaguely remembered the sound of faint rattles across my windowpane but I believe it was just the wind, my mind foggy with sleep, yawning into my pillow, turning over. The sun came up the next day and just like that it was Mr. Tuesday.I brushed past the usual swarm of students to the lunch table sitting next to Ally who was nose deep in a book, "Still reading about Lycans?” I chuckled placing my bag beside me, “You've never been the same after we went to legions house," I replied tacking a fry off her plate. She looked up at me with a faint smile before it was quickly erased, her eyes narrowing to

[55.1] Let Me in (part-two)

AZIANS POV There was only one good thing about wearing these large shades today. Being able to look at her, to watch her every move, without worrying about whether Edwin, Alessia, or Khloe would notice. The moment we had stepped out of the car when we arrived on school grounds, Alpha immediately picked up her scent, my eyes immediately flashing to the spot where her scent came strongest, watching as she entered the school building. My jaw clenched, watching her walk through the halls on her way to her first class until she disappeared from view. My mind was an unstable mess of ticks, unable to sit still or talk, just a constant pounding in my head until first periods were over and I was finally able to see her head to the cafeteria with her little human friend Ally, and probably would have stared at her there for the whole hour if it wasn't for the fact that Khloe suggested we go to the nearest restaurant and eat there. Somethi

[56.1] The King (part-one)

Legions POVI stomped into my mansion in fury, eyes searching around the place for that bloody bastard, “Caleb!" I yelled watching as some obviously deranged maid run into the next room trying in vain to get out of my line of sight, maybe the one good thing that happened today. From the airy silence that came to greet me, I knew all the other Lycans had already sensed Xeric’s fury and my wrath from the moment I had stepped back onto this property. it had become a routine for them I noticed, sometimes I wondered if they had alarms that rang whenever they sense me coming so that they could hide. Not that I blamed them, no one wanted to be in the presence of their Alpha whilst I was in this mood.Xeric was angry, angry that he was taken away from his mate. I searched for the bloody guardian that had called earlier and told me to immediately come back to the mansion. His tone sounded urgent and I hoped for his seek the issue was of dire importance. I had

[57.1] The King (part-two)

LEGION'S POV "I should have listened to my father. It is true that the fires of Hades cannot be compared to the fury of a woman," King Damian retreated to his chair, and my eyes followed, “Erilyn gave her soul to the darkness, she was not to be forgotten so easily. Black magic became her ritual, her belief, and on the day I was mated she gave a curse, a curse she fixed with her life. My son was to be a beast like his father and his father before him, but his lust for blood would not be subdued. He would transform past the boundaries the moon had carved, he would feast on the living, mortal, and immortal, and kill even those he called beloved. Those that gave him love." Queen Kivara’s face shone through my mind once more, her body mangled in the shadows of the tower. " She burnt herself to the stake sealing magic so dark it was fueled from the sacrifice of her soul" I subconsciously touched my arm, feeling for the mark, the mark every moon crested Lyca

[58.1] Confrontations

Kaya’s POV I was never coming out. Ever. That's right I would live in this toilet for the rest of the school year if I had to. I rubbed my cheeks roughly in embarrassment as I sat on the toilet seat staring up at the cream white doors groaning loudly. I couldn't believe I did that! What was wrong with me? And I just lay there on top of him for a good twenty seconds just staring at him. Oh my lord, I’m so embarrassed. I failed to comprehend how I got to that position. Why am I so clumsy? Oh great, I would never live this down. Never, it will probably be pinned as a quote under me in the yearbook- the girl who fell on Azian King. UGH! I could just die from the embarrassment! How was I supposed to look at him the same way, everybody at school would be talking about this till graduation! “Kill me, just kill me,” I dragged, running a hand through my curls in utter frustration. I glanced down at my phone in my hands as it vibrated s

[59.1] A Great Witch

Khloe’s POV The nerve of that girl!  I couldn't contain the anger that was sweeping through me as I turned back to face the house. I tightened my fists watching her through the kitchen window, my magic heating behind my eyes, narrowing down on her figure until she covered her nose, blood dripping.  I grinned turning away. I slipped back into my car. Normally I would prefer to super speed my way home but in these heels, I would arrive sore. Plus that Abigail witch had scolded me overdoing that in broad daylight. Who did she think she was, my mother? I took one last glance at the house of my father’s other child before cruising away. The moment I pulled up by the house I noticed that Liam’s car wasn't in the driveway. I rolled my eyes, that man would work himself to death but who cares? He was just a temporary piece of work my mother decided to grown fond of, either him or was it his money? I shrugged grabbing
