Kaya’s POV

I reached for my towel, wrapping it around my body, and then dried my hair with the other towel, before towering it up and walking out of the room. After I changed into my pajamas, I ventured into Texting Ally for a while, before quitting and deciding it was high time to rest.

Sleep came easily tonight. I slept well. I think I vaguely remembered the sound of faint rattles across my windowpane but I believe it was just the wind, my mind foggy with sleep, yawning into my pillow, turning over.

The sun came up the next day and just like that it was Mr. Tuesday.

I brushed past the usual swarm of students to the lunch table sitting next to Ally who was nose deep in a book, "Still reading about Lycans?” I chuckled placing my bag beside me, “You've never been the same after we went to legions house," I replied tacking a fry off her plate.

She looked up at me with a faint smile before it was quickly erased, her eyes narrowing to

AZIANS POV There was only one good thing about wearing these large shades today. Being able to look at her, to watch her every move, without worrying about whether Edwin, Alessia, or Khloe would notice. The moment we had stepped out of the car when we arrived on school grounds, Alpha immediately picked up her scent, my eyes immediately flashing to the spot where her scent came strongest, watching as she entered the school building. My jaw clenched, watching her walk through the halls on her way to her first class until she disappeared from view. My mind was an unstable mess of ticks, unable to sit still or talk, just a constant pounding in my head until first periods were over and I was finally able to see her head to the cafeteria with her little human friend Ally, and probably would have stared at her there for the whole hour if it wasn't for the fact that Khloe suggested we go to the nearest restaurant and eat there. Legions POVI stomped into my mansion in fury, eyes searching around the place for that bloody bastard, “Caleb!" I yelled watching as some obviously deranged maid run into the next room trying in vain to get out of my line of sight, maybe the one good thing that happened today. From the airy silence that came to greet me, I knew all the other Lycans had already sensed Xeric’s fury and my wrath from the moment I had stepped back onto this property. it had become a routine for them I noticed, sometimes I wondered if they had alarms that rang whenever they sense me coming so that they could hide. Not that I blamed them, no one wanted to be in the presence of their Alpha whilst I was in this mood.Xeric was angry, angry that he was taken away from his mate. I searched for the bloody guardian that had called earlier and told me to immediately come back to the mansion. His tone sounded urgent and I hoped for his seek the issue was of dire importance. I had

LEGION'S POV "I should have listened to my father. It is true that the fires of Hades cannot be compared to the fury of a woman," King Damian retreated to his chair, and my eyes followed, “Erilyn gave her soul to the darkness, she was not to be forgotten so easily. Black magic became her ritual, her belief, and on the day I was mated she gave a curse, a curse she fixed with her life. My son was to be a beast like his father and his father before him, but his lust for blood would not be subdued. He would transform past the boundaries the moon had carved, he would feast on the living, mortal, and immortal, and kill even those he called beloved. Those that gave him love." Queen Kivara’s face shone through my mind once more, her body mangled in the shadows of the tower. " She burnt herself to the stake sealing magic so dark it was fueled from the sacrifice of her soul" I subconsciously touched my arm, feeling for the mark, the mark every moon crested Lyca

Kaya’s POV I was never coming out. Ever. That's right I would live in this toilet for the rest of the school year if I had to. I rubbed my cheeks roughly in embarrassment as I sat on the toilet seat staring up at the cream white doors groaning loudly. I couldn't believe I did that! What was wrong with me? And I just lay there on top of him for a good twenty seconds just staring at him. Oh my lord, I’m so embarrassed. I failed to comprehend how I got to that position. Why am I so clumsy? Oh great, I would never live this down. Never, it will probably be pinned as a quote under me in the yearbook- the girl who fell on Azian King. UGH! I could just die from the embarrassment! How was I supposed to look at him the same way, everybody at school would be talking about this till graduation! “Kill me, just kill me,” I dragged, running a hand through my curls in utter frustration. I glanced down at my phone in my hands as it vibrated s

Khloe’s POV The nerve of that girl! I couldn't contain the anger that was sweeping through me as I turned back to face the house. I tightened my fists watching her through the kitchen window, my magic heating behind my eyes, narrowing down on her figure until she covered her nose, blood dripping. I grinned turning away. I slipped back into my car. Normally I would prefer to super speed my way home but in these heels, I would arrive sore. Plus that Abigail witch had scolded me overdoing that in broad daylight. Who did she think she was, my mother? I took one last glance at the house of my father’s other child before cruising away. The moment I pulled up by the house I noticed that Liam’s car wasn't in the driveway. I rolled my eyes, that man would work himself to death but who cares? He was just a temporary piece of work my mother decided to grown fond of, either him or was it his money? I shrugged grabbing

KAYAS POV "That Girl got some nerve!" I said aloud to myself brushing my curls ferociously thinking back to what happened this afternoon. I placed my brush on my bed staring straight out to the balcony biting my lip. This was all my Dad’s fault for giving me such an awful stepsister. I glanced at the time, the night was still young but tomorrow was school. It was better I got some shut-eye. Aunt Lily had come home about an Hour ago, turns out the girl had a date with none other than Mr. Hottie Aka Caleb. She promised to give me all the details tomorrow because she was clearly exhausted. I glanced at my nightstand debating if I should take a book out and read a few more chapters but the thought of reading already put my mind to sleep. So I switched off the lights and curled into bed.But sleep was a stranger to me. I kept thinking back to the school incident. Frustrated, I switched the light back on my eyes

Azian’s POVLast nightMy lips lingered on her forehead watching as she suddenly relaxed in my arms, burying her face into my shoulder. I held her for a moment, my fingers playing with the tips of her soft locks. I knew that final kiss had finally put her to sleep, and when she wakes up this would all be but a dream to her.Alpha growled at this. He wanted our possession to remember everything we had just done to her, but of course, that wasn't part of the deal. If I wanted to keep seeing her, she could never know I truly came to her.I held her close to me, my fingers twisting in her lovely hair. I was obsessed with it. I thanked Erania she never wore it like this to school for I would have never been able to keep my eyes off her at the times needed. Everything about her made me feel like I was losing my sanity.I trailed my nose by the outline of her jaw, carrying her scent

Kaya’s POV. OH MY GOSH, THERE WERE HICKIES ON MY NECK! I couldn’t believe the dark streaks of bruises that lined my neck, blemishing it a dark hue. I stepped closer to the mirror examining them my face reddening. But this could only mean-- Nah--I shook my head, that couldn't be— But yes-- there was no way I could have given them to myself! That was impossible! This could only mean...my mind flashed back to the two empty glasses on the counter, the sight of my frizzy hair, and finally the Hickies that adorned my neck and shoulder. I wanted to doubt it, I really wanted to but I couldn’t. I couldn't. I found myself falling short of breath, hand gripping on the bathroom sink for support at the shock of it. I reached for the tap as I heard a loud knock on my bedroom door causing my heart to drop drastically. "Kaya! Honey are you okay in there?!” A worried voice came, banging against the door roughly, “L

A familiar voice whispered, but loud enough to leave an echo, causing my eyes to strain through the darkness, my golden lenses scanning the room until it rested on the outline of a rough fallen figure covered by crossing shadows as it sat at the feet of the throne."Kaya!" I called out immediately wanting to reach her, "Don't!" She yelled back her hand stretching out into the straying moonlight, and I faltered back when I saw the dark veins whispering inside her like poison, as she immediately pulled her hand back, a slight whimper escaping her lips.Edwin's hand c

Edwin watched Azian pace up and down in the kitchen worriedly, his frame was rigid and his jaw was clenched, worry lines all over his face. He had tried to speak before but Alpha had made it clear they didn't want to talk. He was seemingly still mad at him for not telling him about Legion. "Will you stop worrying? Kaya will be alright. You know Abigail knows what she's doing right?" He asked him. He only received a growl from Alpha completely shutting him up, his fiery golden eyes daring him to say another word. Edwin looked down at the counter, holding his tongue as Azian went back to pacing but it was only a few minutes later when he spoke again, "Seriously, you're giving me a headache, stop with the pacing, try to relax. " he tried again this time instantly regretting it. "DO NOT ASK ME TO BE CALM!" Alpha barked, his eyes glowing brightly. "Okay, okay, okay," Edwin replied quickly. Lillian paced in Kaya's room watching as Anna fluffed Kaya's pillow, relaxing her in her bed, the light burn on her shoulder, glowing brightly before disappearing as the dragon snorted. The doorbell suddenly rang and Aunt Lily froze, "that's her, that's got to be her,” she said full-on panicking, "what should I tell her? She won't believe anything I say! I'm screwed!" She grunted biting her lip, "if I tell her about witches and Lycan and dragons she will know I've lost my mind! And she wouldn't be far from the truth because I feel like it-" "Relax," Anna said rubbing her shoulder, as the doorbell rang again, Liam stood up, “Let’s just tell her Kaya isn't feeling well that’s it, she doesn't need to worry herself too much, at least not now," he said walking toward Lillian, "Come on, Gabrielle’s waiting." He said before heading out the door in a calm cool and collected manner. Lillian watched him shocked for a moment before she turned back to Anna, "you

"It's official," Liam began as he walked into the house with Lillian and Ally by his side, meeting the blank stares of the witches before him. "She's gone, poof! No trace of the witch! Not even her daughter! It's like she never was, even the pictures of her are missing,” Lillian said, "Good Morning,” she added looking around at the group, her eyes falling, and voice tripping at their expression, "no sign of Kaya and Azian yet?" She asked. Ena shook her head, "two days and still nothing,” she paused glancing over at them, "and of course Stephania won't be found, I'm sure she was gone long before we thought of her. She might not even be in this realm anymore." "Realm?" Liam echoed. Abigail ignored the question standing up, "Two days and no sign of Azian or Kaya, I'm getting worried." "W-what if they never come back?" Ally said, finally voicing the one fear she was afraid of "Don't say that, they’ll come back,” Lillian snapped back gl

The air seemed dark and stale, every Lycan in the vicinity had made themselves as scarce as they could if not called upon by their King. It was a dark day and no one wanted to be in the presence of Zerth at the moment. King Damian looked down at his son, his jaw clenched at the state of him, watching as he laid there unconscious, no sign of recovery in the long run, as would have happened had it been a mere cut or a stab like before. This time his face stuck in a painful expression that even if he hadn’t as much as opened his eyes yet, King Damian could feel Xeric howl deep within Legion, the pain a tingling sensation in his ears, his fists hard and clenched tightly, unable to take his eyes off the state of his son. The Dark covers were laid above him, stopping just below his shoulders and the large curtains were drawn to shield him from the sun. No one was allowed to see the Feared Prince of Lycan in this state. King Damian feared even he was never meant to see his

"It's our bond" he began softly, "or do you mean that it's a dragon?" He asked again a little confused obviously. I turned to him sharply, overwhelmed "what do you mean bond?!" I asked my voice rising by the minute. He raised an eyebrow as if accepting some sort of challenge, a slight smirk on the corner of his lips "Bond Kaya, You like me don't you?" He asked. I huffed out at the sudden question, before shaking my head, "Azian I don't understand any of this! None of it is making sense to me? Why did you bite me?" He rubbed my shoulder, leaning forward, his lips skimming my neck causing my heartbeat to rise, his h

I blinked again as if in a haze, eyes trailing around the room. It was very large which made me think it was definitely not my room.My eyes came into contact with a shadow by the window, running out of breath for a second, the sun's rays blocking his face from view. My breathing was low as I stared at it before a figure crossed my mind and a name to match it."Azian?" I whispered, my eyes squinting to see the form.It moved only slightly, its vo

He had been used, taken away from those he loved, without a second thought. But that wasn't the worst part, his daughter, his life, had been taken from him. Lilian had held his hand through it all and he was glad she did although it looked like she was this close to bursting. "He's a dragon? The boy who was dating Khloe.” He repeated trying to let it sink in. "Yes, "Abigail replied,” dragons are shifters, they have a humanoid version unless of course the cursed ones or rogues simply put" she explained noticing his confusion, “And he was only dating Khloe because he thought she was his mate. Much like you, he was also under a spell, only one much more powerful," Abigail explained to him as Lillian took a sip of her hot coffee. "And a mate is more like a soul mate?" "In the
