Anastasia was perplexed. She had no idea what exactly was going on. The person she knew was a CEO. However, according to her family, she was supposed to marry a simple man with no job. The doctor after examining Alex wrote a prescription of medicines for him. He handed it to Anastasia and said, "These pain killers will be given twice a day for three days after meals."  Anastasia listened to him and asked, "Doctor, how long will it take to heal the wound?"  "More than two-three weeks," replied the doctor. Anastasia nodded and thanked him. Butler Antonio Ferro showed the way out to the doctor, closing the door behind him.  "I need to bring these medicines," Ana informed him as she looked at the prescription.  "Give it to me," Alex demanded the prescription slip, which she handed to him. "I don't know. Anastasia is not in a good state. So, come here quickly," Stavros advised Alex, who hummed. "Are you good? Well, if you are feeling weak, then let it be. I will handle everything," Stavros suggested to him.  "Cancel the afternoon's meeting and shift it to tomorrow. I am coming to the hospital," Alex answered and hung up the call. He put the phone on the bed and ran his fingers in his hair.  He got down from the bed and went to the walk-in closet to change. After he got dressed, he left for the hospital. Rose stopped him as he crossed the living hall.  "Where are you heading to?" She questioned him.  "None of your business," Alex answered and walked out of the house. He told the driver to take him to the hospital. 

The burial ceremony for Lucas was performed in the evening. Alex had bought the land for his father-in-law, where he could rest in peace. Many people came to give their prayers and condolences to the Spanos family. Even Alex's parents came when he informed them.  Soon, the people left, however, Anastasia and Alex stayed behind. Katherine had to leave because of urgent work. She told Alex to keep informing her.  The sky started to turn dark and it thundered. The clouds had gathered in the sky. "Let's go back," Alex told Anastasia, since rain was going to pour soon. But Anastasia did not answer him. Like a lifeless body, she blankly stared at the grave of his father. Tears were streaming down her cheek.  Suddenly the rain started to pour. "Ana, let's go back," Alex again urged her. His tone was soft.
