Anastasia kept struggling but it was in vain. Alexander did not let her go while she kept throwing her legs in the air. The security guard was bewildered to see them.  He brought her to his car, opened the passenger's side door and made her settle on the seat. "Leave me, Alex," Anastasia said with a stern expression.  "Never," Alexander replied and tied the seat belt around her. She was not surprised to see Anastasia was as stubborn as she was before. This was the reason he fell for her hard.  Alexander, without further delay, swiftly got into the driver seat and locked the car from inside. Anastasia scowled at him. "Open the door, Alex. Anastasia could not believe the nonsense Alexander was spatting at that moment. Why would she marry him? Her faith from love had lifted a year ago when everything in her life turned upside down.  "I am not marrying you," Anastasia stated and stepped back to run out when Alexander carried her up in his arms.  Alexander kept walking ignoring her protests and took her to the living room.  "Leave me, Alex. You are forcing me to do things against my will," she said and hit his shoulder, but it did not bother him.  He stopped and said, "Dad, I told you that my wife is not dead. She is sound and safe. As per our promise, I won't marry Rose." Anastasia stopped protesting and turned her head to look when saw Alexander's father on the couch center. 

Alexander and Stavros met at a bar where they had decided to drink together for a while. "So, Anastasia was hiding all this time. But where does she work?" Stavros queried him. "I did not ask," Alexander answered. "My mind went haphazard in front of her. I saw her after a year, so I only asked where she was," he stated and swirled the alcohol in the glass. "Where does she live?" Stavros asked another question. "She refused to tell," Alexander replied. "I have her number, so that's the only good thing that happened." Alexander stepped into his office and saw his father and mother on the sofas. He asked them about the reason for their visit and found Rebecca Clark, the lawyer, too beside them. "Step down as the CEO," Xavier said. "Get out of my house as it doesn't belong to you anymore," he furiously said. Stavros glanced at Alexander, who remained silent. "Alex, why don't you agree with us? Rosie is a perfect woman for you. Your father will not do anything if you agree to marry Rosie," Penelope, the mother of Alexander, calmly told him. She glanced at her husband and assured him that he would not disappoint them. "I won't marry Rosie. I am ready to step down as the CEO," Alexander answered. Stavros asked Alexander not to do so, who asked him to stay quiet. "If this immense wealth, such a prestigious position could keep me happy, then I would have married Rosie a long time ago. Alex looked at Anastasia, who was not happy. "We have to go to a party tonight. Your brother, Nicholas is celebrating the happiness he got after becoming the CEO," Alex affirmed. "I do not want to go," Ana replied as she wiped off her tears. "He will taunt me and my father," she added. "In the presence of your husband, no one can make you feel low. You cannot let him think that you have fallen weaker. Anastasia peered at him for a long time. "Don't encourage me so much," Ana mumbled when Alex drew her towards him by grasping her arm.  "This is the only thing you can have to stay stronger in front of your rival. It's only the beginning, Ana. Nicholas might be happy today but no one knows about tomorrow," Alex proclaimed. "Hmm. I trust your words," Ana asserted.
