It was late night duty again at my part time job, once the trays and other baskets were all washed up, I fastened my movements and arranged it all at the top counter. Careful not to slide or fall, I managed to finish in a minute. I look at the clock, its quarter before eleven, then I pull off the cover and water starts to drain from the main heater. I arrive a bit early at the campus, so I have spare time to buy some bread at the cafeteria. Since its lunch time it is crowded and noisier than usual. “This bitch look at what you have done!” I grabbed her hard by the collar.   Immediately I know it's a human girl, maybe she’s trying to make me notice, other girls have done it before and tried to win my favor. “I don’t get what you mean ma’am, can you please elaborate? What does it have to do with my shift being removed?” I am flustered and agitated over these ridiculous things I’ve been hearing from the regional manager.   Favoritism? Me?   “As I’ve said, the late manager dotes on you giving more schedule than the other regulars that I’ve received a few reports on already.” Then she looked at the staff who’s sitting with us, as if urging her to talk, she got the signal and spoke. “The truth is, the other regulars are complaining about the distribution of schedule.
