Chapter 68

“Oops!"

Jade was always the sweet and innocent one and she always took advantage of that to bring her down but looking at her right now, there was nothing sweet or innocent about her anymore.

The look she saw in Jade's eyes was a little bit terrifying and alarmingly.

It was usually the normal hate Jade throws her way or anger in her eyes but this time, it wasn't hate nor anger.

Carrie fell back with a screech as she rolled down the stairs.

“Carrie!" Xavier's voice roared around the house.

Jade looked up to see her husband running towards the stairs.

She also spotted Maria who looked terrified.

Carrie finally landed at the foot of the stairs unconscious and blood dripped out of her nose.

Xavier threw his briefcase and quickly picked her up. He paused to look at his wife at the top of the stairs before dashing out.
