Jade wasn't surprised that there weren't any cameras or paparazzi and she understood why.

The building was filled with the Mafia and representatives from different territories and they are very big on keeping their identities a secret.

Jade was satisfied with the number of heads that snapped her way the moment she stepped into the hall but Xavier inwardly regretted the fact that he brought her along.

Not because he is automatically putting her life at risk but because of how most of the men looked at his wife.

He made sure she was on his arm at all times and refused to let her be on her own through out the event.

“You look absolutely stunning.” He whispered to her.

“Don't you think it's a little bit too late for compliments?” She smiled. “I think I've gotten enough compliments today.”

Indeed she has. Almost everyone they talked to complimented her, both male and female.

“But mine matters the most.” He replied.

“Me.” He turned to kiss her in the lips.
