Chapter 73

Jade turned and spotted Carrie in a distance.

" Look! Carrie is having an attack! She needs help ” She pointed and their attention turned to Carrie.

Jade quickly got out of their trap and ran towards the building.

“Mrs. Stone!" They ran after her but she was faster.

Carrie cursed under her breath as she watched Jade run back to the building.

" Xavier!” Jade loudly called and tears dropped down her face. It blinded her as she navigate into the building.

“Xavier!"

" Jade..” She heard his weak voice.

" Xavier!” She screamed with horror when she saw him nearby, with an injured arm and leg.

" I was looking for you.." He tried to get up but Jade ran into his arms, pushing him back down. “Ow.."

" I'm sorry!” She painfully sniffed. “I thought I lost you! I'm sorry." She cried and hugged him again. " Don't ever scare me like this again!”

" I'm okay…"

“I went out but you weren't there. They told me you went back in to look for me, why would you do something so stupid!?" She said in tears.
