Five Months Later
Willow walked down the empty street at night. The dark atmosphere and dimmed yellow light bulbs allowed very little vision ahead. She held her coat tightly with her gloved hands and wrapped her arms around herself as she quickened her pace, knowing that a vampire was following her.
All that could be heard was the sound of her quick feet tapping against the concrete and the pounding of her heart.
The vampire, too, quickened his pace. There was no need for him to chase the prey, but the thrill of the hunt excited him. The vampire smirked as he saw the human turn into a narrow alley.
This should be easy, thought the predator while turning into the alley. He saw the human standing in the middle of the street. Having let go of the coat, she looked for something in the inside pocket.

Willow stepped out of the shower and wore the same black clothes that had become like a uniform to her. After drying her hair, she tied it into a high ponytail and left her room. She walked down the dark hallway. Only dim lamps were allowed in the building and those lamps were placed in all the rooms. The only well-lit area was the basement. Willow and Luke stood in his apartment in front of the guest bedroom door in anticipation. She had performed the spell, however, given her lack of experience, she was nervous to open the door. "Do you want me to do it?" Luke asked. "No," she said firmly before twisting the knob. She pushed it open and they were greeted with the sight of a spare room that had junk stored in it.
