CHAPTER 58:RENEGOTIATION OF TERMS

Nelson sat behind his large mahogany desk, flipping through the pages of the partnership proposal in front of him. Andrew, his business partner, stood by the window, gazing out at the city skyline.

"Andrew, we need to make sure we're clear on the terms," Nelson said, looking up from the documents.

Andrew turned, nodding. "I agree. We can't afford any misunderstandings."

Just then, Nelson's secretary knocked on the door. "Mr. Nelson, the CEO of Green Earth Oil Company, Rachel Lee, has arrived."

Nelson smiled, standing up. "Show her in, please."

Rachel Lee entered the office, confident and poised. She extended a manicured hand to Nelson and Andrew.

"Nelson, Andrew, it's a pleasure to finally meet you in person."

Nelson shook her hand firmly. "Rachel, please have a seat."

Rachel took a seat in one of the plush leather chairs in front of Nelson's desk. Andrew sat beside her, while Nelson returned to his chair.

"Let's get down to business," Rachel said, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.
