CHAPTER 60: CONTINUATION

Nelson's eyes narrowed at the cryptic message. He showed it to Andrew and Amelia

"Who do you think sent this?" Amelia asked, concern etched on her face.

Nelson shrugged. "No idea. But I'll forward it to Detective Mason."

Andrew's expression turned serious. "This could be related to Emily's embezzlement."

Nelson nodded. "Or something bigger."

As they walked back to their office, Nelson couldn't shake off the feeling of unease.

At their office, they found Emily's replacement, Salia, already at work.

"Hi, everyone," Salia said, smiling. "I've reviewed the financials and found some discrepancies."

Nelson's eyes locked onto Rachel. "What kind of discrepancies?"

Salia hesitated. "It looks like Emily was hiding more than just embezzlement."

Andrew's eyes widened. "What do you mean?"

Salia leaned in. "I think Emily was involved in money laundering."

The room fell silent.

Amelia's voice was barely above a whisper. "For who?"

Salia's expression turned grim. "I'm not sure yet, but I'll keep digg
