“Call me when you need anything,” sambit ni Jeanne nang makarating kami sa apartment niya..

I nodded and went inside of the guest room. Nahiga ako sa kama at muling nakatulugan ang pag-iyak

When I woke up the next day, sobrang hapdi ng mata ko.

I smiled at her and nodded.

“Magbreakfast ka na. May pagkain sa lamesa.”

“Salamat, Jeanne. Uuwi din ako ngayon,” sabi ko.

Tumango naman siya. Later on, she left while I ate breakfast.

“Hello, Sir, good morning.” I tried to sound happy.

He laughed at it. This asshole!

“Why so formal, Sandra? Para namang hindi kita kaibigan. Anyway, I'll discuss something which I know you'll want,” he said.

My brows furrowed at his offer.

“You're not gonna ask me to deliver drugs, right?”

“What?

“Eh ano?”

“Do you want to go to Kalibo?” nakangiting tanong niya.

“No,” I said.

“I already agreed to Mr. Costales!”

Costales.

“I’m just kidding. Magkano ang bayad?” tanong ko.

“They will pay you three hundred thousand pesos for one month. You just have to send him to Kalibo, tapos ihahatid mo pauwi si Alejandro Samaniego, tapos babalik ng Kalibo. That’s it!”

I was about to say yes.

“I-I'm not sure.

What?!

“Sige na, please? He'll invest more in the airlines if he's satisfied with the flight,” aniya.

Bumuntonghininga ako at saka tumango. “Alright.”

“Great! I guarantee you, saka ka lang nila gagambalain kung magpapalipad ka,” he said.

I smiled and agreed to sign a month contract that he’ll send to me.

I decided to go back home and take some clothes to bring with me nang malaman kong bukas na pala ang aming alis.

“I have to pilot an aircraft of a businessman to Kalibo tomorrow.

I'll have to escort him to travel by air,”

“Sige, mag-iimpake ka ba? Halika, tutulungan kita,” aniya.

I heard him sigh before he hugged me. Inaalu ako sa pag-iyak.

“Nambabae siya, Kuya. Nambabae siya.” Pumiyok ang aking boses sa pag-iyak. Hindi ko sasabihin ang tungkol kay Aubree. Ayaw ko.

“Tang inang gago 'yon,” mariing sambit niya.

My lips parted and I held his wrist when I realized that maybe, he'll go to Damien!

I don’t want to accept his proposal but Mama said that she's not going to get younger, and she wanted to see me get married.

I was pressured to say yes to him because I want my mom to be happy.

“I understand you, Sandra. I'll help you with it, alright? Kailangan mo nang sabihin ngayon,” he said.

“Pero—”

“Sandra,”

She was smiling sadly.

The acceptance from them made me feel light.

I excused myself that our flight tomorrow is early and I have to sleep in a hotel. But the truth is, I'm gonna go to Jeanne and bid goodbye. Ikukwento ko rin ang buong pangyayari kagabi.

“Makikitulog ulit ako. Is it okay?” I asked.

She smiled and opened her door.

“Magtatrabaho ka ba bukas?” she asked.

“You sure you can do it, Sandra?”

I smiled at him and nodded. “Oo naman. I have to do this.”

“Did you call off the engagement?”

“I had to. Hindi na kami maayos.”

“You did the right thing,” she said.

I smiled at her.

I asked her.

“You didn't know? Birthday ni Lionel ngayon. He invited us to a bar.”

“Really? I didn't know.”

“I just greeted him. Sabi ko ay hindi tayo makakapunta.”

I sighed at the thought of it.

“No, let's go,” I said.

“Are you serious?” inis na tanong niya.

I smiled at her before I nodded.

“Masyado na kitang naaabala. Besides, birthday din ni Lionel. Maybe a party can make me forget my problems,” I said.

I made her change clothes before pulling her to my car.

I was so proper and straightforward.

I never voiced out my true feelings to anyone. I keep it to myself. Kinakaya ko naman, eh. What if I try to run away from my problems? Even just for tonight?

I'll run away from my problems just this once.

The bartender guided us to their table.

“Thank you for coming!”

“Sorry, wala kaming regalo.

“No, it's okay. Sapat nang pumunta kayo...” Lionel looked at me “...na pumunta ka.”

I smiled at him.

Naupo kami sa couch. It was vacant beside Lionel, but I chose to sit beside CK.

“Hi, CK! You drink?” I asked her.

She shyly looked at me and nodded. “Ikaw, Captain? Anong iinumin mo?”

“Sandra na lang! Stop being so shy, you're so cute,” nakangiting sabi ko.

I didn't mind him.

The world is spinning when I stood up at muntik pa akong madapa!

Suddenly, someone held my waist.

“Careful,” Lionel said. I smiled and thanked him.

“You know where? Samahan kita?” tanong ko sa kaniya.

“H-Hindi na,” tugon niya.

“No, baka mabastos ka. Tara—shit!” I shouted when she accidentally spilt her cocktail at me.

“H-Hala! Sorry, Captain!” she said.

I smiled at her.

“No problem. It’s okay,” I said.

“What the hell, CK?” tanong ni Lionel at hinawakan si CK.

I want to fucking dance!

I started dancing with the beat of the loud music. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam! Mas nakakalasing at mas nakakatuwa!

While dancing, I felt someone dancing behind me erotically.

A large and calloused palm holds my waist and danced closer. Bahagya akong nainis sa kaniya at medyo lumayo.

I was about to stop him But then I realized, kung si Damien nambabae dahil nagkulang ako, bakit ako hindi?

Bakit ako, hindi pwede?

But fuck, who says I can't?

No one holds my decision. I can do whatever I want!

Damn it, I'm really drunk. Of course, I'm not like that. I won't do that.

I felt him slowly grinding behind me.

It felt so good that it's killing me!

“Maybe we should stop,” Hindi ko makilala ang boses ko dahil sa nangyayari.

I felt the electricity in my body, and the burning passion inside me.

“Why? Aren't you enjoying this, Darling?” he asked.

I bit my lip.

I smirked when I remembered someone calling me that way. However, it's all in the past now.

I continued dancing as he pulled me closer and grinded behind me, which made me gasp.

He laughed at it.

“Hmm, enjoying it, huh?” He sniffed my neck, which made me shiver and close my eyes.

“I-I can't—”

“Do you want me to stop?” he asked.

Nagulat ako at napamulat. Kaagad akong umiling sa tanong niya.

“N-No, don't,” I said. Hindi ko na alam kung anong nararamdaman.

“Can I kiss you?” he asked.

Hinarap ko kaagad siya na ikinagulat niya.

I stopped dancing and I looked at him. He is handsome, but he looks so rough. He looks like someone I can't remember.

I looked at his long and messy hair, his deep brown eyes, and his narrow nose.

My hand slowly went to touch his familiar face. I couldn't control it. It has its own mind!

Dumako ang tingin ko sa labi niya. Damn, I can’t even think properly!

The sensation he gives me is powerful.

It's just kiss!

“Damn it,” he said before he kissed cupped my cheeks, and kissed my lips.

Umuwi ka rin agad at magpahinga…” Dad said. I closed the door and watched them go. Tahimik na ang lugar. The tent was still built, but the chairs were gone already. Bumuntonghininga ako at saka nilingon ang sasakyan ng taong alam kong kanina pa nanonood. “You can come near if you want to. Hindi kita bubugbugin ngayon,” I said after sitting in the grass in front of the grave, knowing that someone can hear me.
