EPILOGUE
Lux’s POV
It was nice and peaceful.
Looking at the aurora borealis for the second time to celebrate the prophecy of our children is beautiful. Crocell looks at me with a smile before taking and kissing the back of my hand, muttering thank you every now and then.
It had been five months since we undid the curse. It was a bittersweet moment as I took the first breath of life with confidence that it won’t be the last so soon. And as I took that sweet breath, Camael took his last.
And I have never thanked anyone this hard. He sacrificed his life for me. He did it so we can live. It wasn’t his obligation to do so as I have later on realized that even though he saw how father cursed me, it wasn’t his obligation to tell me, tell us nor help us in anything.
Camael was a casualty. An innocent sacrifice so that we can live happily and I will live the rest of my immortal life thanking him for it. The source had already spoken in our dreams regarding Camael’s soul and yes, his last wish will be fulfilled.
“Camael, forgive us.” I whispered in between sobs as the angel slowly lose life in his eyes. His skin turning pale by the second as Metatron looked at him, still not over the shock but his tears leaving hot trails down his cheeks while he looked at his bestfriend.
“No. I—this is my choice, please live happily for me.” Camael smiled as blood seeps down the corner of his mouth. The angel looked up at the threads of source trying to reconnect to his soul for his departure. “Source hear my prayers, I wish to be reborn.” The angel chanted. “Be reborn to find the better half of my soul.”
The source hummed and more gold threads wrapped around him as if agreeing at the idea.
“You can’t leave me like this.” Metatron suddenly spoke, jaws hard as he spoke out. “Not like this Camael, no.”
Camael reached out and pulled my brother’s face down so they are face to face before Metatron rested his forehead on top of Camael’s. The angel chucked and tenderly ran his thumb over the tear streak on Metatron’s cheek.
“I am glad to have met you. You are the best thing that happened to me. I…I’m sorry Tron. I wish for your happiness from the bottom of my heart,” Camael was struggling to say his last words as his strength vanish. “I love you.” He whispers to which Metatron replied with the same words.
“I love you too, Camael.” He breathlessly said.
“I’m glad to hear that.” The angel was smiling as the light slowly disappears before he leaned in and kissed Metatron which left us in a state of surprise. “I’m sorry but we don’t share the same affection, my heart belonged to you, it will always be.”
Camael loved Metatron. He loved him all this time without expecting anything in return from my brother. He loved unconditionally and stayed with him despite the pain of seeing him happy with his betrothed. And he left with that confession.
Metatron may feel the same but it was too late now. I’ve never seen my brother in shambles but at the moment, he’s holed up in hell, refusing to go back to heaven.
I wish for both Camael and my brother’s happiness soon.
“What are you thinking?” Crocell asked as he peppered kisses on my bare shoulders.
“Just stuff… and how the compass your father gave you led us to this place.” I said and the demon smirked before running his hand all over my naked bulge of a belly. We had been led to this place, under the aurora borealis to be purified. It is a place where daylight and darkness meet and so it is a place to completely undo the curse.
And yes, we fucked under the aurora borealis as per Hades’ recommendation.
How fucking sweet is that?
“I’ll let you in on a secret.” Crocell said and pulled me closer, letting me rest on his arms as the green and pink streaks of light appeared on the sky, visible above the clear roof of our cabin. I looked at him and hummed to let him continue on.
“What secret?” I asked.
“It’s about mother and father.” My lover said, “Well, mom sacrificed a part of his body in order to try and reverse a part of the curse before but we didn’t succeed.” He stated and I looked at him in confusion. “Mother gave up his ability to conceive in exchange for that compass we used and now that it had served its purpose, it disappeared just like that, out like a bubble.”
I never knew about this. “Mom was always good to us, we are lucky to have him.” I nuzzled my husband and thanked the source for allowing Leviathan to exist. If it weren’t for him, I don’t know where we would be.
“And I think they haven’t noticed yet but I smell a change in his scent. So I guess I’m gonna be a big brother in a few months.” The demon shrugged as my eyes bulged at the bomb he just dropped. Lev is what?!
“He’s pregnant?!” I asked, sitting up and moving up and down in excitement—well as much as I can move since I literally looked like I swallowed an extra-large sized watermelon. “Oh my God! That’s wonderful!” I said and felt tears well up. I had always known how Lev and Beel wanted to have more kids, I never would’ve guessed that they would have one after a long period of time. I am so happy for them.
“Whoa, slow down love, did you pee yourself again?” Crocell asked and I just smacked him with a pillow.
“That joke is getting old so fast.” I narrowed my eyes and he held his hands up in surrender before pointing at the space between my legs where I definitely felt wetness on my bottom. I looked down to see that it is indeed wet. Crocell and I shared a look.
“It’s either I peed myself or this is the twin wanting out.” I calmly said as a sharp pain shot up my spine.
“Yep, that definitely is the twins.” Crocell said before color drained from his face as he passed out.
“You useless son of a bitch!”
----
It was early august when we first heard the precious cries of our children after a full 12 hours labor. Xavier, which means bright and new beginning was definitely Crocell’s carbon copy. He had this white hair, proud nose, a thin cupid bow lip and captivating periwinkle colored eyes. Ciaran, which means darkness, is the smaller twin and although they are identical, Ciaran had softer features including his long lashes, curly fluffy black hair and grey—almost silver eyes.
Both have different personalities and Crocell is always up on his feet with his little replicas running around causing havoc.
“You look like you recovered well.” Hades said as he sat beside me on a marble bench by the gazebo where my family plays. I nodded and looked at Hades who is fondly stealing glances at the children.
“They are wonderful.” I said after a while as I see a fond smile on his lips. “It was worth every pain.”
“Yes… I suppose I understand you in that part.” Hades replied and I can’t help but feel his smile falter a bit. “They are growing fast.”
“They are.” I leaned back. “And they’ll be a handful for a while.” Hades hummed and I turned to him which surprised him a bit. “Hades, I promised you before that I will be bestowing a gift to you.”
“There’s no need for that, sweetie, Lev and I are good friends and I treat you as a friend as well.”
“Yes. I suppose but I also treat you as a friend that’s why I want you to accept my gift.” I insisted. “I want you to start the family that you longed for with Lucifer. I want you to take my womb and use it.”
“Lux that’s…” Hades looked at me with eyes shining from unshed tears. “It was just a silly dream of mine.” He said with a small voice. “Thank you.” Hades suddenly wrapped his arms around me in a hug.
“You’re welcome. I am sure Lucifer would be ecstatic about the idea.” I said with a smile, hugging him back as we both smiled. “I’m sure anyone would be very lucky to have you and Lucifer as their parents.”
Hades looked down with a blush before nodding. “I would hope so.”
“You will, Hades, you will.”
---
My life had been a bit more challenging than usual. From the day I was created until the day we broke the curse I felt life hope wasn’t always attainable.
And I was the source’s personification of light. I should be part of those who brings hope.
But alas, things doesn’t always go your way and to be honest, that’s fine cause it’s part of what’s makes you up as you. It makes you who you are.
“Hmm, what are you thinking?” My husband says as he wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind and kissing me on my neck up to my ears and yes, this is my horny husband asking for something without telling me.
“Stop, I’m doing the dishes.” I whined but still I was indulging him in his antics. Crocell just smirked and trailed his hands on my ass.
“Why do the dishes if I can do you?”
“You’re awful.”
“I know.” The demon cackled and I rolled my eyes. “So what we’re you thinking about?”
I washed my hand with a small smile, rubbing it on the sink towel before turning around and wrapping my hands around his neck. “I was thinking about us, how fate was so cruel and shit.”
“Wow you cursed, that’s hot.” Crocell said and kissed me. “So what about it? So what if destiny denied our love story?”
“Yeah, destiny denied our love story yet here we are.” I said. “We defied the odd.” I whispered in his ears.
“Because we are fated.” Crocell smiled fondly at me before he hoisted me up. I gasped but easily wrapped my legs around his torso.
“The kids seems to be sleeping longer.” I hummed. “Wanna fuck?”
“I prefer lovemaking but yeah, I wanna do that too.” My demon replied making me burst out laughing.
“Yeah, let’s do that.” I giggled before dropping a kiss. “I love you, most ardently, Crocell.”
“I love you too, my beloved Lux.” He replied as he took me to our bedroom.
Yeah. I could get use to this. Fuck destiny. This is mine.

Chapter 1 “Say Trent… Are you gonna miss me if I ever go somewhere far?” the boy asked his friend as they laid down the bed, a supposedly hypothetical question that he knows deep inside is happening faster than he had anticipated. “Why? Are you going away?” The innocent green eyes lit up in attention at what his bestfriend had just said. He’s confused as to why he would be asked this—and it made his heart skip a beat just thinking how he’d be apart from his bestfriend. Ashley just giggled and shook his head “No, just a question.” “Well if you’re not going away then I won’t miss you.” The boy mumbled, a bit flustered. “You’re definitely gonna miss me.” Ashley whispered with a small smile—a sad one before he shook his head and pointed at the star that they can see from the small window of the boy's room. "Look, it's our star again." Trent, still caught up in the previous
Chapter 2Ashley’s POV20 years. It had been 20 years since I left this town. 20 years since I left the neighborhood, and now, I’m back. Unfortunately, for good... I’ll be moving back here for good. I’m just hoping that my old neighborhood is still here—however, that’s highly unlikely, with all the modernization that’s happening. Still, I am hopeful. But I’m sure someone had probably renovated or made something new in place of the house I used to live in. The car slowly came to a halt in front of a modern looking house where the house I once grew up in stood. If I remember correctly, there are two houses here before—one that belongs to my childhood best friend that unfortunately, moved out and the other belongs to our family. I had tried searching for that best friend of mine. Without any luck, I still haven't found any clue as to where he is at the moment. I looked around seeing the huge difference. I remember an apple tree in between the houses and an old Sycamore in the back. I re
Chapter 3“So why are you looking for a house mate then?” I asked. “Are you one of those psychopath who lures in people with your big house, nice neighborhood almost non-existent rental payment cause if you are, I might have to let you know, I have a friend the size of a fucking tank. He’s huge and could crush you and he knows I’m here.” I said in an annoyingly honest way to warm him and to let him know that I can outlive scams. I’ve done it before, just so you know. No matter how handsome a stranger is, you don’t trust them.“How I wish—if I am a psychopath, I would be smarter than that.“ He smugly smirked at me and crossed his arms. “This whole thing isn’t actually my idea. My friend, who probably knows your friend that told you this place is up for a renter said I could probably use
Chapter 4“Are you by any chance, named Ashley?” He asked with a curious expression.“Uh, who’s asking?” I asked him, backing away a bit.“You don’t remember me? It’s Mark! Mark Travis. We went to the same middle school before.” He said and I really tried my best in remembering him but I came up blank. “You don’t recall me, do you?” He asked and I reluctantly nodded.“You know Ash, we met at the hospital last year, when I was in chemo.” He shyly said and showed his bald head. “Did your condition perhaps had gotten worse?” He asked with worried face. Now that I think about it, I remember someone from the hospital when I first found out about my condition, I just can’t put the name and face at it.&ldqu
Chapter 5“You know I can feel you stare at me, right?” Ashley deadpanned while waving the wooden spatula in front of my face. I smirked and winked at him.“Your jeans are awfully snug. I am a man whore, sue me.” I said and he just gave me a sound similar to a shout and a groan. It’s a guilty pleasure but I love pissing him off—he’s like this cute little feisty bunny that you play tug of war with but instead of a rope, you’re using his carrot and its damn funny pissing it off.“Can’t you be like normal for once?” He grimaced and went back to stirring whatever he’s cooking in the pot. We are tight, baby. It’s easy to charm him within three months. I have natural charms—and enough confidence. Even if we are constantly teasing each other, I’m pretty su
Chapter 6“How’s it going Bill?” I handed my personal valet my car keys and he just bowed a bit to show respect.“Wonderful, Sir. I hope you have a great day.” He said as I made my way inside the building. I have meetings until 12 and some suppliers to meet after lunch so I really have a day ahead of me. A great day indeed—not.Ms. Mitch, from the front desk greeted me with a smile and I waved at her before riding the elevator up to my office—surprisingly, Ram, my secretary came rushing to me as soon as I stepped out. He’s avoiding my eyes so and I poked the inside of my cheeks. Something is up and I hate not knowing what it is.“Okay what’s got your panties in a bunch?” I asked with narrowed eyes. Ram just fidgeted uncomfortable before he finally
Chapter 7“You seem to be a bit distracted.” Leviathan commented as he sat down beside after the meeting had been concluded, looking straight ahead as he prepared his stuff for departure. Apparently, the idiot is also an investor of the company we are having a meeting today. “Is it about Beel dropping by?”I clicked my tongue and Lev immediately raised a brow, he already know I really hate Beelzebub’s visit as it is mostly him nagging me about my position in hell. “The bastard had given me an ultimatum.” I said, turning to him with a serious façade. “Which means you need to get your shit together and fulfill your part of the agreement already.”Leviathan’s face immediately darkened and he looked away. “You know why we can’t reach out to him already. What you&r
Chapter 8“Not that fun to make fun of now, is it?”The minx.I have to up my game.Instead of pushing him away, I pulled his waist towards mine with a smile. “Of course darling, I was just teasing.” I said with a small chuckle and Ashley looked like he’s about to lose it and murder me instead.“Now, now, I need to introduce you to everybody—everyone, this is my wife—sorry, my husband, Ashley.” I announced and we received a warm applause and maybe some side glances that totally spelled either confusion, suspicion or plain jealousy. I know, I’m one hot piece, damn.Ashley elbowed me with a glare and I led him down to the elevator so we can go back up to my office—he said lunch so I’m gonna have
