Chapter 5
“You know I can feel you stare at me, right?” Ashley deadpanned while waving the wooden spatula in front of my face. I smirked and winked at him.
“Your jeans are awfully snug. I am a man whore, sue me.” I said and he just gave me a sound similar to a shout and a groan. It’s a guilty pleasure but I love pissing him off—he’s like this cute little feisty bunny that you play tug of war with but instead of a rope, you’re using his carrot and its damn funny pissing it off.
“Can’t you be like normal for once?” He grimaced and went back to stirring whatever he’s cooking in the pot. We are tight, baby. It’s easy to charm him within three months. I have natural charms—and enough confidence. Even if we are constantly teasing each other, I’m pretty sure he’ll be sad when I’m gone.
“Normal is boring darling. I am the refreshing raisin in your meat pie.” I said and his nose scrunched up.
“Yeah, a raisin in a meat pie—means you don’t belong.” He said with a laugh making me laugh as well.
“I don’t cook! How do I know!?”
“Duh! Common knowledge!” He laughed, gripping his stomach and I just joined him before all went south and he gasped in pain, falling down on his knees before he curled up in the pain his feeling. I immediately went to him and helped him up.
“Fuck.” Ashley hissed.
“Hey.” I slowly started, scooping him up. “Are you alright? You seem pretty hurt.” I said and I could feel him grit his teeth.
“No, I’m okay.” He managed but I wasn’t really about to believe him.
“No, you’re not,” I argued and placed him down on top of the counter. “I’ll get you some water first and then we can head to your room. I’ll shut this thing off too.” I said and turned the stove off before handing him a bottle of water. What the fuck just happened?
I stared as he slowly drank from the bottle sat it down. I took it as an initiative to come and take him to his bed. I scooped him up and he latched himself to my neck, looking pretty sad and hurt making me try and be extra careful with his legs.
“Thanks.” Ashley said as I sat him down his bed.
“It’s nothing. Do you have like, I don’t know, arthritis or something?” I asked as I get him comfortable in his bed.
“No, you idiot. It’s just some pain I have been having with my legs for some time now. It goes away after resting. Do you mind grabbing me my pain killers? They’re by the second drawer beside you.” He said and I shrugged before taking a bottle of pills from where he asked me to. There’s a bunch of other medications too.
“Here you go.” I said and handed it to him with some water. “You must be sick often with the amount of meds you have.” I commented and Ashley just chuckled—sadly.
“I guess so. Don’t worry—it’s nothing serious.” He said and I nodded. Oh well, if it ain’t nothing to him, its fine with me.
But I can’t help but think it’s strange.
“Well, if you say so.” I drawled out. “You can always call on me if you’re feeling sick or something though. It’s like a house mate code to take care of each other.”
“No offense, Trent but you can’t even take care of yourself.” Ashley deadpans and I looked at him, trying to look as offended as I can be which only resulted to a giggle man in front of me. I raised a brow and crossed my arms.
“Well I could try. I’m pretty good at a lot of things.” I said, humbly? Of course not.
“Sure you are. That’s why your house is always a mess—I have been alive for 27 years and I have only seen a few people as messy as you are.” He snorted.
“You are unbelievable. I am offering you my services! Girls and guys will be running begging me to service them if I offered.” I threw in. I am a sex god—a handsome CEO, damn I am perfect and I fail how Ashley miss that.
“I am not your hoe.” Ashley said and then scooted closer, minding his legs before I felt him cup my face.
“If you learn how to take care of another human, I will definitely be impressed, Trent Easton, pretty impressed.” He said in a low voice.I don’t know why my heart skipped.
But I sure know, my cock bounced up too.
---
“You sure you’re ready to go to work?” I asked for the nth time as Ashley tied his shoes, I’m dropping him by to his work today since I’m still worried about his legs hurting. Of course, he insisted I shouldn’t do it but come on, I’m not that kind of a demon.Well I am a kind demon—that’s moronic to say but it’s true. Swear to God.
“Sure, just let me grab my bag.” He said before standing up. “You really didn’t have to drop me off, I can use my car—“
“Your car is in the shop, you dolt.” I deadpanned and grabbed the box full of papers that he’s supposed to bring to school today. “It’s either you’re really good at forgetting things or you’re just a natural airhead. I don’t know what’s worst.”
I felt him huff and we went outside together. I still notice the slight limp in his walk but it’s not that bad anymore.
“Damn, I really want you to like, fall on your face and just mess up your nose a little bit—nobody’s allowed to have this perfect kind of life.” Ashley went to my car, giving it a hungry stare—he’s practically salivating ‘cause apparently, he really liked sports car.
“Geez thanks for wishing me such a good thing in the morning.” I spat out sarcastically before opening the door and motioning for him to go inside. Ashley just gave me a giggle before settling in. The school isn’t that far from here so it’ll be a short ride which is good—I have a meeting in an hour.
“Are you coming home early?” Ash asked as we drove away, tucking a stray lock of his blonde locks behind his ear.
“Not sure, why?” I made a turn to look at him—yeah, would definitely tap that.
“I might be home early today, I don’t know. Something about inspections.” He said and I bit my lip.
Okay so I liked how his hair is done today and I am completely ignoring what happened the other night. The heart skips a beat when you are like horny right—I really like how Ashley looks and how his body is. He’s lean—slender with just the right amount of muscle and fat in… the right places. His eyes are like very light blue—no, electric blue and his hair is light blonde hair compliments his porcelain skin—damn, even his cute beauty mark on the left side of his face is adorable.
I am definitely horny and I could use some part in the weekend to get laid.
“You’re staring.” Ashley gave me a glance. I cleared my throat a bit before smirking.
“Well, you seemed cute and nice today—I haven’t heard you flat out curse me.” I grinned and parked in front of the gates and Ashley gave me a grimace.
“What? Want me to curse you—Trent, you really are something.”
“I don’t mean it like—whatever, your such an ass.” A very hot piece of ass. I let him out of the car, laughing. He’s probably enjoying how easily I gave up. Unfortunately, for him. I am an asshole through and through so revenge will be served, ALWAYS.
“Thanks for the ride, Trent.” Ashley said and before he could walk away, I made sure to yell really loud as people are rushing in.
“You enjoy your work, Ashley Sweetheart! I love you!” I waved before driving hurriedly as people went to snicker and raise their brows at him. I caught a glimpse of Ashley’s death glare—promising slow and painful death.
He’s really adorable.
Chapter 6“How’s it going Bill?” I handed my personal valet my car keys and he just bowed a bit to show respect.“Wonderful, Sir. I hope you have a great day.” He said as I made my way inside the building. I have meetings until 12 and some suppliers to meet after lunch so I really have a day ahead of me. A great day indeed—not.Ms. Mitch, from the front desk greeted me with a smile and I waved at her before riding the elevator up to my office—surprisingly, Ram, my secretary came rushing to me as soon as I stepped out. He’s avoiding my eyes so and I poked the inside of my cheeks. Something is up and I hate not knowing what it is.“Okay what’s got your panties in a bunch?” I asked with narrowed eyes. Ram just fidgeted uncomfortable before he finally
Chapter 7“You seem to be a bit distracted.” Leviathan commented as he sat down beside after the meeting had been concluded, looking straight ahead as he prepared his stuff for departure. Apparently, the idiot is also an investor of the company we are having a meeting today. “Is it about Beel dropping by?”I clicked my tongue and Lev immediately raised a brow, he already know I really hate Beelzebub’s visit as it is mostly him nagging me about my position in hell. “The bastard had given me an ultimatum.” I said, turning to him with a serious façade. “Which means you need to get your shit together and fulfill your part of the agreement already.”Leviathan’s face immediately darkened and he looked away. “You know why we can’t reach out to him already. What you&r
Chapter 8“Not that fun to make fun of now, is it?”The minx.I have to up my game.Instead of pushing him away, I pulled his waist towards mine with a smile. “Of course darling, I was just teasing.” I said with a small chuckle and Ashley looked like he’s about to lose it and murder me instead.“Now, now, I need to introduce you to everybody—everyone, this is my wife—sorry, my husband, Ashley.” I announced and we received a warm applause and maybe some side glances that totally spelled either confusion, suspicion or plain jealousy. I know, I’m one hot piece, damn.Ashley elbowed me with a glare and I led him down to the elevator so we can go back up to my office—he said lunch so I’m gonna have
Chapter 9“I will gut you if I can.” Ashley said with a blank stare and I burst out laughing before hugging him from behind as he began walking to the room.“If I wasn’t busy, I’d totally date you.” I whispered in his ear, earning a shudder. Well, Ashley is gorgeous. I’d give him that and yes, I mean what I said. I would totally date the guy if things were a bit different. If he is my Ashley—I wouldn’t hesitate. But he isn’t my Ashley and my heart still belongs to the boy that saved me twenty years ago.I wouldn’t do that to this Ashley—I wouldn’t live to hurt him if he learns that I am after a person that shares the same name as him. I may be a demon but I know what pain is.“Trent, stop.” He said in a small voice. “W
Chapter 10 “Stop smiling. It’s creepy.” Lev nudged me as we get inside the jet making me frown at him.“What’s wrong with my smile? Last time I checked girls and guys alike are falling like flies for this smile.” Lev just looked at me with a drool face and I raised a brow and nodded at the flight attendant as we get inside the plane.Damn, being rich really does creep me out sometimes—people are like too kind when you got money. You can’t really trust anyone.“Man—I really don’t get why Beel is so hell bent on getting you a position as his heir. You’re just a cocky brat. And I already said stop smiling—it’s creepy!”“Hey!” I glared, offended. “I am fucking smart and awesome—t
Chapter 11Ashley’s POV“Fuck.” I curse under my breath as I struggle walking down the stairs. My head hurts and the pills doesn’t seem to help my case. It’s been a day since Trent had left for his business trip and I am really grateful for the timing—and maybe a bit worried too. I am alone in the house for two days—and two nights, since he’s planning to come home in the morning.I have not been feeling well since the time I fell down while cooking. I think it’s the universe way of telling me that my time is almost up.Man, being in a dying meat suit sucks. I haven’t even gotten to writing everything in my bucket list. With that thought clouding my mind, I sat down and looked
Chapter 12“Anyway, how was living with your pig of a house mate?”“I told you already, Trent is a good house mate—a bit disorganized and messy but he’s a good person. He’s been nothing but a sweetheart, Phil. One day I’ll let you come over while he’s around.” I said and the man just shrugged, running his hand all over his blonde locks.“Well, tell me if he’s bothering you.” Phil made a turn and headed for the highway with a small frown adorning his otherwise handsome face—not as handsome as the person I’m living with though, but you could say damn well that this guy is really good looking. “You should’ve just stayed with me, that way I can keep an eye on you and you get to live rent free.”“You know I can&
Chapter 13(Trent and Ashley—age 7.)“You got a boo-boo again.” Ashley said while inspecting the cut in his best friend’s face. It’s a common occurrence for the both of them come morning when they can play again in the day care center. As common as it is, it simply doesn’t make it okay—no matter how often it happens. His best friend doesn’t deserve it. “Did your ‘Da do this again?”“You know it’s always my Dad—I’m okay Ashey. Look, I got apples from mom again!” Trent cheerfully showed his lunch bag with apples, some pop tarts and a juice box.
