Ivy

I got hold of the papers and stormed out of my office, even without hearing from anyone I knew how beautiful I looked

I hopped into my car as soon as I got closer to it, I drove out of the company

After thirty minutes of driving, I go to the Marcus company, the gate threw open and I drove into it without staring twice I notice the parking lot and there I drove in full speed to the garage and parked at the parking lot

I hopped out of my car and heaved a huge sigh before proceeding into the company

I walked to the receptionist and gave her a brief introduction about myself and what I came to do

She placed a call and I was sure she had been given a little information about me she nodded and directed me to the elevator that will lead me to the 5th floor

I hopped into the elevator and in the less than a minute the elevator stopped spinning and suddenly slid open

I stepped out of it and walked with my heart in my hands

I took the description the lady gave me and in no time I was close to the office

I knocked and a light feminine voice came in, I opened the door and walked into

“Hi, is your boss around?” I inquired and she nodded

“Yes, I will inform him that you are here” she admitted and I nodded

She walked into her boss's office after which she had knocked. and in less than a minute she was back

“You may step in” she muttered and I nodded

. Ivy walked in after which he had replied her to come in

She walked closer and Emerald stared at her physic, it was something else

“You're welcome miss Ivy, I guess you are here with the file, right?” he inquired and she nodded

She placed the file on the table and Ivy’s blue eyes pierced deeply into him

Emerald kept reading everything more carefully and suddenly a call came on his phone

He dropped the file and picked up the call

“Hi, Mr. Emelrad, ”the caller from the other end spoke softly and he reciprocated, the call lasted for like 3 minutes, and finally he dropped the call and turned to Ivy

And without hesitation, he read the heading again and quickly signed on it

“Okay Miss Ivy, cheers to the newfound business partnership,” he said with a smile and Ivy responded with a smile before getting a hold of the paper, she gave him one last smile before proceeding to the door

She turned the handle and strode out of the office...

3 days later

Phone beep

Emerald was sitting on the long couch in his room when his phone beeped he turned to check it and it was an emergency call

He picked up the call and his secretary's voice came up

“Hello sir, I don't know what is happening now but some group of men are here with some papers calming that they now own the company” she explained and his eyes almost popped out of their socket

“You must be joking Rita, you know I hate to be stressed, if you need anything let me know and stop stressing me” he replied rudely and Rita sighed

“Believe me, sir, they are here with the cops and they are claiming ownership of the company” Rita cried out, without hesitation, he sprang on his feet, and without wasting any time, he walked out of the room and descended the stairs briskly and Angrily

“Don't panic Rita, just hold on for a little while, I will be there with you, ”he replied and hopped into his car after which he had hung the call, he drove recklessly at a very high speed and in less than 30 minutes he had arrived at the office

He drove in furiously and parked roughly at the parking lot

He stepped out of the car and matched angrily into the company and all he could see where commotion

Taking the elevator he landed on the 5th floor in less than a minute

“What the hell is happening here?” he questioned and they'll turn to look at him

“Guess the boss is here, one of the men” teased and they all laughed

Emerald stared at them perplexed

“What are you all doing in my company? this isn't a bar where hoodlums like you can come and relax” he fired and they All laugh

“Drop your ego man, the company isn't yours any longer, or don't you have an idea about what you did?” one of the guys questioned and they all laughed while Emerald narrowed his eyes in bewilderment

“Excuse you!!” he said bringing their attention back to him

“What do you mean by that” he inquired and they laughed and stretched the paper forward to him

“I guess it will be nice, if you rather see it for yourself,” one of the guys said and stretched it to Emerald,

He gripped it forcefully from them, lo and behold his signature was on something he knew nothing about

“I Emerald John Marcus, will to you Mr Wilson three of my companies, as compensation to what my father did to you in the past”he read out, and breeds of sweat formed upon his face

“This is not possible” he shouted out and the guys laughed

Suddenly a call came through his phone he checked the caller it was an unknown number so he reached out to the phone and picked the call

Winston loud laugh tored through the phone

“Hello Mr. Emerald,” he laughed mischievously before continuing “I'm sure you know what Is going on right now, how does it feel to know that you're gonna be kissing your companies a goodbye” he spoke wickedly in his rough masculine tone and another mischievous smile tore through his lips

“Mr. Wilston, how did we get here I am so sure this isn't the paper I signed”

“You must be a fool for not being smart, well, I don't really blame you, no one can ever be smarter than Ivy,” he said and laughed

“Am sorry to let you know that this can't happen and whatever it is you have done doesn't affect me” he said boldly and Mr. Wilson laughed

“Sorry man, but you are paying for the day you challenged me in the presence of every other company because back then I was nothing, now I have everything and you have nothing, now let's see how life goes for you Mr.pompous”he said in a mockery tone and hanged

The Zaros Mansion

Mrs. Zaros was having a conversation on the phone when the police came in,

They walked into the sitting room and Mrs. Zaros stood up

“Good day, ma'am, ”one of the policemen greeted and Mrs. Zaros responded with a nod

“You will need to follow us to the police station, ma'am, for some complaint has been laid against you” the police explained and Mrs. Zaros boldly nodded

She has been expecting the police and seeing them is nothing surprising, she got a hold of something and walked away with them

Ivy’s office

With her legs crossed on the table, her head rested at the top of the chair, she dozed into the land of imagination but the beeping sound of her phone called her back to reality

“Good morning” she greeted after which she had received the call

“Good morning is this Miss Ivy Zaros?” the man inquired and she nodded as if he could see her

“Okay, your mum has been arrested for using cursed words against someone” the policeman stated and Ivy immediately jumped on her feets

“Alright, please drop the address I will be there in no time,” she said and hung up, she picked up her bag and dashed out of her office

In no time she got to the police station, and she had a little conversation with the policeman and he informed her about the person who laid the complaint and that the case had been charged to court

Ivy stood recklessly, it's a very big problem to use curse words on someone and now that's it's even Mr. Marcus, there is a higher possibility that she loses the case

Without hesitation, she took her bag and walked out of the police station, the only hope she has now is mr Wilson and she hopes he helps her out she doesn't want this to be extended to court

On getting to the office she took the turn to Wilston's office and in no time she was standing in the front of his office

She knocked and walked in as soon as she got a reply from him

“Good day sir, ”she greeted and he turned his chair from the window to face her,

“Ivy, nice to have you here, do take a sit, I was about to call on you, What a very great job, I should award you for that,” he said and she smiled faintly

“Sir, I really need your help right now, ”she said and he narrowed his eyes

“What's it about?” he inquired and Ivy sighed

“Well, the case is that my mum and Mr. Marcus had some augment 3days before now and now he laid charges against her and the case will be going to court, please can you help me do something about it?” she inquired with her hand's merged and he smiled sarcastically

“You don't have to do all this stuff ivy, I am willing to help” he said and Ivy raised her head, and immediately an undefined smile appeared on her face

“But you know, nothing comes for free baby girl”he said and the smile that settled on her face disappeared

“What do you mean by that? she inquired and he laughed Misheviously

“Come on girl, you are now a full-grown woman and I need you to understand what am trying to say,” he said walking closer to her,

“We could just do one or two things in here, and you know, no one must know baby girl, ”she said and placed his hands-on Ivy's breast

She sprang up immediately,

“what the hell do you think you are doing?” she inquired and held onto her top

“Come on girl, you are no longer a kid, we both know that you want this and you could do it for your mummy you know?”

“No matter what happens I will never stoop so low as to do something as disgusting as that, let me remind you that I am not a child, yes but am not cheap, it's fine if you don't want to help,” she said and with that, she turned to leave

“If you step out of this company without having this with me then just know that you are fired” he threatened and Ivy scoffed

“I have always known you to be a very wicked man but I never knew you were as cheap as this too, it's fine, am going to leave your company but watch out, cause I will make sure I take justice for everything you have done”with that she removed the tag and dropped it on the table

She stormed out of the office and banged the door behind her.walking out of the company she clean the tears that settled on her cheeks, she doesn't have time to regret her actions

All she needs to do now is find a way to get her mum out of prison and fix her life before Lucifer comes for her, she needs to clear Mr. Winston from the surface of this earth else, Molly's life is most definitely going to be at risk.

She got into her car and drove out of the compound in furry

Why on earth did she stoop so low, she shouldn't have helped him in any way and poor Mr. Emerald must be feeling bad right now
