Memories of Lucifer

Ivy's Pov

Arranging the files on my table I got a hold of my bag and stormed out of my office, looking at me, one could easily tell that I just had a crying section

I brought myself to a halt as soon as I got closer to my secretary

“I won't be able to continue my work for today, I will leave everything under your control, and yes if mr Wilston asks of me, be free to let him know that I took the rest of the day off” I explained and she nodded

“Do have a nice day” she muttered and I responded with a smile before stepping out

While walking through to the elevator the rest of the workers kept staring at me in awe and I could tell it was because I had a very pale look compared to the way I was before now

I ignored all the stares that they threw at me and walked into the elevator

My head kept spinning and it looked more like I was gonna fall

I stood as the elevator slid down, my heart kept pounding in my chest

I hate this feeling, it's been long I had this type of feeling

Back then when I was with Lucifer, this feeling comes when he instructs me to do things and I fail to do it

The door to the elevator slid open dragging me out of my warry thought

I walked out of the company to the companies compound and there I walked to my car, without hesitation I hopped into it and leaned my head on it

I inginated the car and took off immediately, I drove recklessly down the street as my head spunged in pain

After a long minute of driving, I got to the gate of our house and took out my remote, I pressed the button and the gate slid open

I drove into the compound and parked in the parking lot

While stepping out I saw a piece of paper that suddenly gripped my attention

I got a hold of it and lo and behold, it was Lucifer again

“The love I have for you is nothing compared to that which you think you will find somewhere else, I am giving you a chance to change your mind, I don't want to come for you, we both know what that means, so enjoy the freedom while it last

I scoffed and tore the paper before flinging the paper up in the air

“I don't care about what wants to happen any longer, he should come for me, and yes I am ready to face him” I shouted and walked into the mansion

Stepping into the sitting room, the first person I met was Nanny Emily

“Welcome back Ivy,”

“Hi Nanny Emily, where is my mummy?” I inquired and she smiled

“Probably upstairs doing some one or two things” she replied and I giggled

“Okay nanny, see you later I said and took the stairs

I took the lead to my mum's room, I placed a light knock on the door and her sweet little voice replied me

I opened the door and walked in after which I had shut the door behind me

“Hey girl, why are you this early,” she asked in her sweet motherly tone and tears threatened to fall

“It's nothing mum, just can't continue with today's work” I replied and she stared awkwardly at me

“I am so sure that's a big lie, I know how much you value your job, you could lay down your life just to make everything fine, am sure you are not telling me the truth, come on you could always tell mummy about everything” she states and dropped the book on her hand and slowly becond on me to sit

I dragged myself lazily to the bed and hit my butts hard on it

“It Lucifer mummy, he is back” I replied as the tears dripped down my cheeks and a slight gasp tore through her lips

She held me closer to herself, more like she was trying to cuddle me

“You don't have to worry baby, there is always a way out of everything okay I'm sure everything is gonna be fine” she assured and I cleaned the droplet of tears that hung on my cheeks

Emerald’s Pov

Walking down the stairs my mind drifted to the incident that happened earlier today and I was forced to call the police

“Hello” I muttered as soon as the receiver got on the phone

“Hello”mr macus

“I want to lay a complaint about a woman who attacked me on the street today” I stated and the police sighed

“Do you have a means to identify her?” he asked and I nodded as if he could see me

“Yes I will send you the photo of the woman as soon as we hang up,” I said and he replied with an okay

I hanged up and without hesitating, I sent the picture of the woman to the police and deleted the picture after which I had hanged up

I walked down the stairs and there I meet with Liam, he was on his phone and left to me I would call him a phone freak

“Hey, dude!” I reached out and plunged myself harder into the three-seater

“Good to see you bro” he replied taking his gaze off his phone

“How did your meeting with the wilstons company go ?” he inquired and I smiled

“It was ecstatic” I replied and he smiled

“Trust you had a lot of people crushing on you”he inquired and I giggled

“Of course bro, but there was this particular lady, she looked like the manager of the company but she looked like a very tough nut to crack”

“She didn't even stare at me, and you know how I hated to be ignored” I stated and he laughed

“Come on bro, you know it's normal for someone to ignore you”he replied and I scoffed

“I don't want it that way, the lady is too beautiful to ignore a man like me” I muttered and he laughed

“Perhaps she finds you attractive but she is a bit reserved and not like other ladies who enjoy throwing themselves at people” he replied and I scoffed

“Whatever”
