Walking along side with Mr Wilston, Ivy kept arranging her clothes

“Whats wrong with you? Mr Wilston inquired and Ivy shook her head

Getting to the board meeting they met with the rest of the board members who looked fully prepared for the meeting

From the look of things, it is the absence of Ivy and Mr. Wilston that held the meeting from commencing

They walked in and Ivy took a seat close to Mr Wilston

Emerald kept staring at the man in suspect

The thought of why Ivy and Mr Wilston walked in together nagged continuously at his head

“Hello and good morning to everyone, I'm glad a day like this had finally shown itself, I will like to say a thank you to Mr Emelrad for accepting our invite and for agreeing to become partners with us in business”Ivy stated and they all clapped

“Its my pleasure to be hear admist you all and I hope everything turns out excellent”Emerald concluded and They all clapped

“Its nice to have you here Mr John Emelrad”Mr wilston appreciated and they all giggled

“Ummmm....so the rule about the investment is that whatever comes out of it ,the both companies are going to share it equally not minding the amount of money contributed from both companies “Ivy read out and they all nodded to her as she read quietly from slip

“Thats actually a great idea”megan commented and they all nodded

“The first investment will be about the importation from the Us, since both companies do majorly the same thing it's will be nice if we both get the commodities together and share whatever that comes out of it”Ivy stated and Enerald nodded

“We have come to the end of the meeting and the signing will be done by tomorrow when the original file comes out”ivy muttered gathering together her files and they all stood up and exchanged hand shake

After the handshake Ivy took the first lead as she swaged her butts left and right

Emerald couldn't get his gaze off her he just wants her to act like she is cruising on him even when she is not

He hates the fact that he isn't seeing that look on her eyes. they walked out of the meeting hall and Ivy took the turn to her office, ignoring the fact that everyone was staring at her, she has always been this cool person, she doesn't stress people much and hates to be stressed, but when you try it she is sure gonna give it to you in a million fold

Getting into the office she slammed the door hard behind her, before proceeding to her chair but suddenly a flower caught her gaze on the table, she huffed and got a hold of the tag on it

The flower looked really nice and smelled more like hibiscus but it wasn't

“You think I have forgotten about you right?no way little princess, I just want you to enjoy freedom while it last, cause whatever happens you can never hide from me

Lucifer” she read and her heart skipped,

“No!!!this can't happen?why on earth do I have to be this cursed?first it was Mr Wilston with his whole threatening shit and now its Lucifer”she muttered as tears burnt the back of her eyes, she ruffled her hair as the tears she tried hard to lock inside, came stroding out of her eyes

She got a hold on the flower and kept hitting on the glass table,

“Why me?why on earth do I have to deal with all this monsters? I am just too young for all this”she muttered and plunged herself harder on the chair as tears rolled down her cheeks

“I thought I had ran away from all this 2 years ago what the hell happened?”she asked no one in particular

She rested on the chair and closed the file that awaited her attention since yesterday

Leaning her body on the chair her mind kept drifting to so many places, old memories racked up on her head as memories of dispersion clouded her entire head. She wish she wasn't the lady with all this to handle

She rested her head on the desk and soon a call came in and she suspected it was Mr Wilston

She held the telephone and placed it in her ear

“Hello” she muttered trying as much as possible not to be rude

“I hope you have not forgotten the promise you made to me?”Mr. Wilston inquired in his usual conventional tone and Ivy sighed

“I will get the paper and have everything done when the time is right” she replied as calmly as possible, as she could and Mr. Wilston smiled

“Good job, I will make sure you have a huge share when all of this comes out” he said and ivy huffed

“Right about now, I don't think I want your money, I just want peace of mind, can I get it now?”she inquired and he hanged up

Sighing angrily Ivy threw the flower to the door and hissed angrily

Cursing under her breath she picked up her phone and placed a call to her mum

“Hello baby girl”her mummy greeted from the other side and she managed to smile

“My bad, sorry I didn't come say hi to you before leaving the house, I just had a lot to attend to plus today is for the board meeting and I woke up late”Ivy explained while her mum listened carefully

“Its fine baby girl am not complaining”she said and Ivy smiled .

“How are you feeling mummy”Ivy inquired and Mrs. Tracy smiled

“Everything would have been perfectly fine, if I hadn't met that godforesaking son of a scumbage at the road”she explained and Ivy giggled

“Am sure you have shown to him the miss Tracy’s side of you”Ivy tease and her mum laughed

“Not so the dude was just too rude and I had to give to him what he deserves”she explained and Ivy laughed

“Alright Mrs disciplinary, I hope you are glad now, ”she inquired teasingly and they both laughed

“Whatever girl, make sure you come home early today okay?, I wish to spend a little time with you her mum said and she laughed

“Sure mum, am gonna do all my possible best”she replied before finally hanging up
