Chapter 79

Shaina felt that the longer she waited for their arrival would cause her unforeseen death. While it's true that it's an exaggeration, she can't control the emotions that keep rising inside of her. It's hard to maintain a strong front in front of her innocent grandchildren while her mind is somewhere, praying for everyone to come back alive.

She knew that Keith will take care of the rest and will bring back her daughter safe and sound. However, as a mother she can't be blamed to feel that way knowing that one of their feet is on impending death. Shaina feared that she would not see her daughter again. May the heavens forbid that to happen as she hadn't even told the truth to Amanda.

She was restless from morning till the day came dawn. Good thing Sarah was there to look after the kids. Her daughter was the one who put them to sleep.

She's at her favorite spot in the garden when Sarah approached her. Sarah looked bothered by something else.
