Chapter 67

It’s almost seven in the evening when the movie finished. She was happy that the kids enjoyed watching that Disney film. She promised to both Kenny and Sandro that this wouldn’t be the last time they would have a movie date. She even said that they’ll have this kind of entertainment perhaps twice a month if permitted by her schedule.

The smile on their faces was priceless, Amanda had embedded the image into her mind. She even got pictures of the two on her phone. Just in case she needed something to motivate her to work, she could just stare at these cuties for the time being.

The three of them just got out of the theater when she received a call from an anonymous number. She immediately answers the call wondering if it would be Keith, and she’s not mistaken as she heard Keith’s voice over the line.

“Hi!” She realized that her voice sounded so excited and cleared her throat. “Hi, how did you get my number?”

“Hello, Amanda,” Keith said on the other line, totally ignoring her question.
