Chapter 71

Shaina knew that look in her eyes. She couldn't be mistaken. Long ago she had the same look while anticipating the arrival of her beloved. And up until today, she missed him that all she could do was to reminisce about their good memories together.

It wasn't her intention to visit Sandro this late. She had a few things to finish first before finally showing up. When she learned that Sandro had a high fever, she was worried as hell. But she had put her faith in his parents that they'll look after him until he's fully recovered.

They say time heals all wounds, she believed that only that person can heal her inner self. And no one else will do that for you.

On the way to Sandro's private room she happened to cross paths with Keith. Just by looking at him she finally understood that something had transpired in the closed door of the room. His appearance had been different, gone was the gloomy aura that surrounds him. And he seemed that he'd finally got the courage to take the next step.
