Chapter 62

With all the stress that piled up recently, Amanda finds herself dozing off to sleep. In her dreams, she’s in the middle of the vast meadow full of lush green and wild flowers. The sky was blue and peaceful, clouds were scattered as a cool breeze passed her. Then after sometime she heard hearty laughter from the distance. Amanda was familiar with that laughter. It was coming from her son, Sandro. Instinctively, she followed where it came from and was perplexed to see the view that it made her cry a lot.

Sandro was playing with this little girl. And with them was her best friend, Alma, and her parents talking to each other over a picnic. As if noticing her presence, they all looked in her direction and smiled. Alma waved back at her, so did her parents. And the kids run towards her, welcoming her with a big hug.
