Chapter 59

After all has been settled and the kids are still playing in the garden, Keith and Sarah bid their goodbyes to Mrs. Ferrer as they have to prepare Kenny’s things for tonight’s sleepover. Amanda and Richard decided to stay longer to watch the kids. And so they do the liberty of being the first to head out and to come back after maybe an hour or so.

“Kenny really likes Amanda’s son, don’t you think?” Sarah mentioned while they were still on the road. She’s checking her perfectly manicured nails as if something should be done in the salon next. “Aren’t you bothered about it?”

“Why should I?” Keith said, his eyes still focused on the road. “They are just kids.”

“As long as Kenny’s having fun then it doesn’t matter who’s child he or she is.”

“Right,” Sarah smiled at him. “They’re the cutest, aren’t they?”

“But I can’t help but notice the boy had such beautiful blue eyes,” Sarah hinted. “ It almost mirrors yours, honey.”

“I don’t really want to pry on another person’s life, Sarah,” He said
