Chapter 19

Amanda was no doubt aware that Keith was approaching. He already found her. But then he got distracted for a second, and Richard used it to escape.

He grabbed her hand and pulled her on the next corner, away from Keith’s view. Amanda’s heart was beating loudly, anticipating for the worst. Richard was glancing at the other direction, still checking if Keith was around.

“He’s now gone,” Richard then turned to her and caressed her face. He looked at her in the eyes showing his concern. “I am not dense, Amanda…”

“Was he the man?”

She shook her head, neither confirming his ass. “Just let us out of here,” she pleaded, a hand above her chest, calming her senses.

Richard didn’t ask for more and helped her leave the hospital immediately. They get inside his car and drove away from the place.
