Chapter 21

Keith’s day consists of having the Japanese investors sign the final contract then getting back to office to focus on his pile of paper works. It seemed to double the last time he checked on it. And everything was near to its due. Some are even for urgent approval.

After a tiring day, he decided to visit his grandfather at the hospital. He brought him flowers and fruits even if Don Kennedy didn’t want to. His old man was always on a practical side, telling him that flowers withered as time passed by and there’s only a few fruits that he could actually eat.

He arrived at the entrance of the hospital around seven in the evening. Don Kennedy was still awake when he got inside his private room. His old man was talking to his private nurse while having his portions of fruits.

“How’s your day, Grandpa?” Keith replaced the old flowers on the bedside table and put the new ones. Then he put the fresh fruits near the mini kitchen. “I hope you’re doing good.”
