After listening to Caleb’s description, Ember quickly walked over to his bed. “Don’t move. I’ll give it a look.”

She carefully removed layer after layer of bandages. Some dried blood had stained the deepest layer in red.

“I told you not to move! Your wound’s bleeding again. I’ll get it changed later,” she complained as she rolled her eyes at Caleb.

“I didn’t do that. What if it’s because my physique isn’t as good, and I bleed easily? Not to mention, I’m now your patient. You have to be responsible for me.”
