037 Waiting In The Woods

The men held the bags while my hands were free. Sigma Luisa got on Mason's nerves the most, and I watched her get on Marcus's nerves which was adorable. The woman idolised me, and it made me feel a bit important. Honestly, it was a breath of fresh air from the angry and mean stares I had been getting from people. It got to a point when I started to believe that no one liked me and were only pretending out of fear. Luisa made me realise that people's opinions about me were divided, and it was amazing to see that some people admired me and appreciated my efforts. It is never possible for everyone to like or hate someone, and this was proof.

We walked through the forest, and I couldn't wait to get to the other side. Mason had dismissed the sigma quickly, and I hoped she had reached the hotel by now. I hoped she would be safe and no one would attack or arrest her. She was a sigma and wasn't built for too many physical combats.
