I look away from Olivia and turn to Dex. He looks at me curiously and motions me over. I walk over to him. "Sit, beautiful." I sit beside him, and he places his hand on my thigh. "What were you saying?" He spoke loudly, and I was a bit confused as to why, if I was sitting next to him, his head turned in Olivia's direction. She smiled as she walked over to us and sat on the empty couch.
"I was asking her what made her so special that you chose her over me?" Dex lets out a hum.
"Olivia, why don't you sit there and look pretty." She lets out a giggle.
"What's the matter, Dex? Trying to hide the fact that you don't have an answer for me and you aren't trying to say the obvious?"
"Please do tell."
"You only wanted me until you got me in your bed; then you didn't want me anymore. That's the only reason you wanted to make a deal with my father." He smiles as he lets out a long sigh.
"You don't get it, do you?" He said with his eyes back on hers. "If I wanted to sleep with you, I didn't need to make a deal with you. You would have gone behind your father if I asked you to. I made a deal with your father to benefit him. So if you are done trying to act like you have something over me, I will shut up before you make things worse." She giggles.
"You don't get to tell me what to do anymore. You gave that away. You have no control over me." He stands up and walks over to her, and leans in, causing her to sit back. He places both of his hands on the back of the couch and goes close to her face.
"That's where you're wrong. I told your father I didn't want to marry you. I never said that I didn't want you. You are still mine. I gave you a little freedom, but apparently, you got a little too much because it's starting to affect the way you talk to me. How about you come back to my house for a little? Maybe you'll start showing me some respect." She gulps.
"Y-y-you can't do that." She stuttered. He lets out a small laugh.
"Grant?" He said. I glanced at Grant, who looked bored.
"This isn't the reason I came here, Dex. If you want to play with your toys, please do on your own time." Olivia glances at her father.
"Daddy?" Grant stands up.
"Fine, I will return next week. I am going to be late for my flight." Dex stands up and turns to him.
"Luca will get a hold of you when I have time to squeeze you in." Grant nods.
"Great." He walks to the door and out he goes. Dex turns to Olivia, and she looks at him with a glare. She stands up and pushes him.
"You can't keep me here. You choose that whore over me. You don't own me." He grabs her wrists and holds them up. She whimpers as she looks at him.
"You do remember my rules, don't you? Do not touch me unless I say you can. And considering the situation is a little different, you don't have a right to. Now, be a good girl and sit down." He threw her arms at her, and she sat down quickly. I look at Dex for a second, realizing I don't know him at all.
"Oh, relax, Grace. I told you it was only a sliver of his anger, and if you continue to push it, he gets to the point where he needs to walk away." Luca said as he placed his hands on my shoulders. I look up at him.
"Right," I mumble. Dex sighs and walks upstairs. I watch him as he walks into his study. I stand up and hug myself.
"Olivia was always one to push his buttons. He doesn't usually lay his hands on women, but she sure makes him want to." Luca said as he looked at her. She glares at him.
"Oh, shut up, Luca." She fired. Dex's study door opens, and he leans on the railing, looking down. He looked angry. She looks at him.
"Now look what you did." Luca mumbles.
"Shut up, Luca!" Dex and Olivia chime. I look at Luca as he smiles.
"She isn't the only one who knows how to push his buttons." He shrugs.
"The difference is he won't do anything to me. But Olivia, on the other hand? That's a different subject." I shake my head at him and walk to the staircase. I walk up the steps and go to walk into Dex's room, and he turns his head to me. I stop and take a step back.
"May I?" He smiles and walks over to me.
"One thing about my anger is if you don't do anything to start it or add to it, I won't take it out on you." I nod slowly. He places his hand on my waist and kisses my forehead. "Don't be alarmed by my anger. I will not harm you unless you give me a reason to. And I don't think you are the type of person to give me a reason."
"I hope I don't," I mumble.
"Don't ask to go in your own room." I look at the door and back to him.
"But isn't this-." He nods.
"We are going to be married. What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine. Ring a bell?" I roll my eyes.
"Right, for a moment I forgot." He smiles.
"Would you like me to give you a reminder?" I giggle.
"I thought you didn't want that from me. Besides, don't you have work to do?" He shakes his head.
"I cleared my day for you. Grant showing up was unexpected." I open the bedroom door and walk over to the bed. I sit down and turn to him as he walks in.
"Does she really have to stay here?" I ask. He nods.
"Yes," I look down. "Why?"
"Because I don't like the idea of living under the same roof as your ex." He hums and walks over to me. He leans down and places both of his hands on the bed next to my thighs. I lean back, causing him to hover over me. I looked into his eyes to see he was amused.
"Most women get angry when they are under the same roof as their husband's ex because they love them. Why are you angry about it?"
"Do you remember when you said if I marry you I won't have to share you?" He nods. "I'm marrying you because I don't have to share you. Now it feels like I do."
"You are sexy when you are jealous." I scuff.
"You aren't listening to me." He nods.
"I am. I think it's not that big of a problem. I chose you over her. You should be more than happy to rub it in her face if she gets on your nerves." I roll my eyes.
"Even if I wanted to do that, I wouldn't."
"Well, that's your choice." He said, standing up. I looked up at the ceiling. "What do you want to do today?" I look at him and sit up.
He was in the bathroom messing with his hair. I watch him with amusement as he takes off his shirt after getting it wet. I looked at the tattoo on his left arm, and a rush flew through me as I found myself drooling over him. He stops before the basket and turns to me. I look down for a moment and back at him. He held a smirk. He hums as he throws his shirt in the basket and walks out of the bathroom. "You haven't answered my question." He stood in front of me with his arms crossed.
"What?" I asked, confused. I didn't remember him asking a question. He chuckles.
"What do you want to do today?" I gulp and look away from him.
"I wasn't aware I get to choose what I do. Normally, I get told what I have to do." He hums, causing me to look back at him. He looks at me for a while before taking a breath of air.
"Everything you knew before living with your father? Forget it. Okay? I am not your father, and I won't be anything like him. My rules are different than his. I don't want to control you, but I do want you to listen. I may own you, but I won't treat you like I do." I searched his eyes.
"Sounds almost too good to be true," I mumbled. He smiles.
"You are too cute." I look down.
"We can watch movies and put the pool to good use. Unless you are one of those rich people who only have it for the looks?" He chuckles.
"I use everything I have in my house, baby. I just haven't had the time to just relax."
I hum while looking around the huge room. "I don't know, Dex. There is a lot of stuff in this very large house. I'm not so sure you know everything you have in it," He snorts.
"How about you get your sexy ass up and into a swimsuit," I giggle while standing up and walking over to my closet.
"Yes, sir," I mumbled.
A Week LaterI walk out of my room and downstairs to hear Olivia and Luca arguing. I walk into the kitchen minding my own business as they just argued. I heard Olivia stop what she was about to say which caused me to look at them for a moment. "Speaking of the bitch." I rolled my eyes at her and went to grab a soda out of the fridge when she stepped in my way. I looked at her bored of her games."Olivia, I highly suggest you try not to get on Dex's bad side today. You've almost got him to his snapping point." Luca said. She holds up her hand at him. "How about you shut up Luca." She said with her eyes still on me. I fold my arms a bit surprised. She took a step towards me. "You think you are something special because you are here? Because you're not. I mean I was the first girl he chose. I was what he wanted. You are just his second choice. Do you really think he is going to marry you? I mean look at you. You are just easy." I let out a dry laugh. I had had enough of her bullshit this
I sit next to Dex quietly with my eyes down on the ground as he speaks to Father and Grant. At that moment Grant and Father were arguing which is what they have been doing for the last five minutes. Dex sat up and cleared his throat which caused everyone's eyes on him even mine. He was looking at the wall. "You are the ones who requested a meeting with me. You are wasting my time. I highly suggest you talk very fast." "I asked for a meeting with you. Not with William." Dex looks at Grant. "Get to the point of you being here, Grant." Grant opens his mouth to say something, but Dex shakes his head. He huffs. "I am here because I think Olivia is worth more." Luca snorts, causing Olivia and me to look at him. He smiles and leans on the couch behind me. "Olivia used to be worth more, but now she isn't." Grant scuffs. "I disagree." Dex sighs. "Olivia has been a huge pain in my ass. If you are asking for more for her, than you aren't getting it. I suggest you walk out with what you have
"Your friend didn't seem to like that you are getting married to me," Dex says as he gets down the steps. I look at him, surprised. "Ken just wants what's best for me." He nods as he slides on his jacket. "If that were the case, then why didn't he make an offer to William for you?" I sighed and looked down. "He did, but my father didn't take his offer because he wanted to get to you," he scuffs, causing me to look up at him. "So Kenneth made an offer that your father refused because of me?" I nod slowly. He lets out a dry smile. "He came into my house telling me things he can offer because he knew exactly what I would want." He pauses as he looks at me for a minute. "Well, there's something he didn't realize." He said, walking past me to the mirror "What is that?" I asked. He looked at me. "I want you more." I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face as I heard footsteps behind me. I turn around to see Olivia folding her arms and Luca walking behind her. "Do I really h
I walk downstairs in a baby-blue jumpsuit that consists of shorts and a tank top. I was barefoot because I didn't care about how I looked in the house. I made sure that I took off my makeup from earlier and put my hair in a messy bun. Luca smiles as I meet him at the bottom of the steps. "You look beautiful," I roll my eyes. "I do not. I just took a shower." He nods. "You look beautiful just being you," I smile. "Thanks," He nods. We walked to the dining room, and Dex was nowhere to be seen. I turn to Luca. "Where is he?" He shrugs. "I got here, and he wasn't here, so I have no idea." I nod slowly. I hear clicking behind me to see Olivia. She looks at me and gives me a small smile. "Thank you for sticking up for me with Dex." I nod. "He lets his temper get out of control sometimes." She nods in agreement. The bell rings, and I look back at the door. "Ignore it. Hunter, the butler, will get it." Luca says. I turn to him with crossed arms. "When did we get a butler?" He looks at
I get up out of bed with Dex still asleep, which I don't mind. I got into the shower, and I stayed in there for a while before getting out. I wanted to prepare myself for the long day I was going to have. I walk out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around me. I walk up to my closet and look inside. I sigh. "Is there a problem with your wardrobe?" Dex's voice filled the air. I look back at him. He was sitting up and leaning against the backboard of the bed. "We are having a big dinner with your family and a bunch of people I don't know. I don't know what to wear." He smiles. "Do you want a new outfit?" I scuff and look back at the closet. "There are over a thousand outfits in the closet that I haven't used and I doubt I will be able to wear them all." He sighs as he folds his arms behind his head. I looked at his muscles and veins that were popping. "What would you like me to do?" He asked. "Put a shirt on," I mumbled. He gives me a small smirk. "What?" I clear my throat and l
Later-that-nightDex walks to the front door as a knock is heard, and I lift my head from the couch where I was sitting with Kate. He starts talking to someone, and I glance at Ken for answers. He looks from the front door with the people to look at me with a serious look. "Well, I would say that the wedding will be perfect tomorrow, Mrs. Wilson," I hear Kate say. I look at her as she stands up. "We are done?" She looks at me with a smile. "We are. I will see you tomorrow morning to help you get ready." I stand up and shake her hand. "Thank you for all of your help," She nods. She walks over to the front door and stops in front of Dex. They talk for a moment before she shakes his hand. "You seem disappointed that she is leaving?" Ken said as he stood next to me. I watch Dex talk to whoever it was that showed up. "Yeah, so?" He hums. "Earlier, you seemed like you were ready to throw her out the door." I look at him. "She was being rude." He hums again while looking at me. "It s
We walk into the living room, and Dex sits down in the armchair. He motions for me to come over, and I do. He pulls me onto his lap, and I lightly tap his chest. "Dex, we have guests," I hiss. He looks at me as everyone starts to come in slowly. "I am well aware. Which is why you are sitting where you are." I open my mouth to question it, but he shakes his head. I sigh and turn back towards everyone. Ken looks at us and lets out a dry laugh as he sits in the other armchair. William sits on the small couch as Sean and Neal sit on the big one. Luca stands behind Dex and me. Jax comes in and sits next to William. "Dex?" Neal started. "Is there any way you can hold off on the wedding? I mean, this is such short notice." Dex hums. "Why would I want to do that?" "Well, we have that three-day trip for work the day after your wedding. How is that fair to your bride?" Dex hums again. I look at him. He looks at me. "Would you be okay if I left for three days after our wedding? We can have
I take a few deep breaths as I look out the window a tiny bit to see the small crowd of people. Gang leaders, family friends, rich people I've only ever seen on TV, and so many others. I had no idea there would be so many people at the wedding. William walks into the room and I look at him. He glances at Ken and then back at me. "Kenneth, can I have a moment with my daughter?" I look at Ken with a worried look and he looks at William. "I'm not leaving her side." William crosses his arms. "Because Dex told you so?" Ken lets out an amused laugh. "Do not mistake me for one of his goons. I am here because I am wanted and because I want to be here. I do not trust you to be alone with Grace. If you need to talk to her, you will do so with me standing here." William sucks on his teeth for a moment and looks at me. "I've made a mistake trusting Dex." I give him a confused look. "His plans with you aren't what claims them to be and so here I am going to give you a choice. You stay here and
I pour myself a shot of Vodka and down it. I turn to him. He scans me before looking at the alcohol. "I don't need your protection. I can handle myself. You trained me to do so." He gives me a small nod while walking into the kitchen. "But having to defend yourself to someone you love or loved is different than defending yourself to a stranger." My eyes start to burn as I look away from him. I take a few deep breaths. "I'm here because I want to be. Not out of pity or regret. You are my family, and I will protect you until my last breath." A few tears slip out as I look back at him. His eyes drop to my tears before he looks back into my eyes. "I can't have you here, Kenneth." He swallows roughly. "Don't ask me to leave, Lee. I want to be here for you." I shake my head as I take a few steps toward him. "Can you please leave?" Hurt flashes in his eyes. He takes a step closer and grabs my chin. "Bailey, I'm begging you. Don't push me away." "I have to." A few more tears slide down
Walking around the huge library Dex had in his home, I admired his collection of books. I ran my fingers over the first-edition Shakespeare books. I held my breath, scared to breathe on them. "You don't have to be afraid to touch them. They're yours." I look over my shoulder at him quickly while giving him a shocked look. "Mine?" He cackles as he strolls up to me. He places his hands on my waist, sliding them down. His hands slip under my summer dress to corress my ass. I gasp as he picks me up. His lips go onto my neck roughly as he wraps one arm around me. I release a soft moan as my eyes flutter closed. "When are you going to accept everything I owe belongs to you now?" Running my hands through his hair, I tug his head up so he is looking into my eyes. Lust burning in his eyes. "I'm still learning to deal with having time to myself. Being rich isn't something I will ever get used to." He chuckles. "You are so fucking beautiful," I tug his head towards mine so I could kiss him.
Dex's P.O.VJogging up to the door with peeling white paint, I peek through the living room window to see the man of the hour. He was in pissed stained boxers and a food stained white tank-top. He looked as if he were molded into the couch. Food containers, empty chip bags, beer cans, and piles of dirty dishes surrounded him. I scrunch up my face in disgust as I look away. I walk over to the door and kick it in. He looks away from the cheap TV to me. His eyes widen as he struggles to stand. I roll my eyes while walking into the living room. "There is no point in trying to run. You and I both know you aren't capable of getting off that damn couch in time," He lets out a heavy sigh before looking away from me. "What do you want, Dex?" "It's not what I want," I say as I look at the small hallway leading to the kitchen where the back door was. Hunter and Luca walk into the living room, and he looks at Hunter. "Hello, Victor," Hunter says bitterly. Victor releases a snarky chuckle. "
PresentGrace's P.O.VI swallow roughly as I watch Ken and Dex have a stare-off as if they were trying to figure out who was going to go first into explaining their tragic past. Dex sits forward while letting out a long-awaited sigh. "You told Falco to kill Uri as an act of war against me and my family." Ken scuffs as he shakes his head. "I would never intentionally go to war with you, Dex. You were like a brother to me. I wouldn't give you any reason to doubt my intentions. But you didn't want to ask me and wait for an answer before you tried to kill me." Dex lets out a dry laugh. "You attacked me and Luca in my apartment. You threw the first punch before I could even ask you." Ken tilts his head a little while anger grows in his eyes. "I threw the first punch? You lied to me about the manhunt and ambused me in my garage. Or did you forget the fact that you were the one who killed Falco?" Dex shakes his head quickly. "I would never do that." Ken's gaze goes to the coffee table lo
18 Years Ago Dex's P.O.V"I'm trusting you to handle this, Dex," Father says sharply, as if he wanted me to fear him if I disobeyed him. I look away from the photo of him that sits on the way behind his desk in his office."I know." His eyes narrow as he takes in the tone of my voice. "If you can't, I will be forced to ask Jax to step in, and something tells me that you don't want that." I swallow roughly while looking at Jax, who smiles as he sits in Father's chair. "No need. I got this," Jax lets out a low chuckle. I look at Father. "Am I free to leave? I do have a life to live outside of your abandoned tin can." "Yes," "Great," I turn on my heels and look at Luca as he awaits by the door. I roll my eyes at the conversation I was forced to have with my sad excuse for a father. "Well, that went great," Luca mumbled as we walked down the hall to the front door. "That went just as I expected it to and no doubt was Jax's doing," He hums. "Someone seriously needs to knock him off
I walk downstairs as Hunter opens the door. Kenneth walks. He thanks him before looking up at me. He takes a deep breath before looking towards the kitchen. Grace walks out of it, looking at him with a smile. I get to the bottom step as she walks up to us. She goes to hug him, but I curl my arm around her waist, pulling her to me. She looks up at me, surprised. I look down at her. "I need you to go upstairs." She gives me a nervous look. "Why?" I tilt my head while glancing at her lips. "Because I said so." She glances at Kenneth before looking back at me. "Are you two fighting again?" I lick my lips while bringing my hand to her cheek. I place my lips on hers, and she melts to me. I pull back, and she looks up at me. "Go on." "Dex," She whispers. "Grace," She folds her arms causing her tits to pop out more. I glance at her cleavage before looking back into her eyes."You said that you wouldn't keep anything from me. Why are you trying to get me to go upstairs?" I sigh. "Fine,
"Baby girl?" I hear. I shift in my seat. I hear a car door open and I open my eyes. I looked out the window to see we were back at the huge mansion. I let out a heavy puff as I rubbed my eyes. My door opens and I look over to see Dex. He smiles. He picks me up. "We are home," I nod. "I see that," I mumble. He chuckles. I lay my head on his chest and he kisses my head. I close my eyes."Hunter, will you get the bags out of the trunk?" "Yes, sir," Dex walks us up the steps and opens the front door. "What are you doing here? I thought you weren't going to be until seven?" I hear Luca whisper. "Grace didn't want to have to wake up early to leave. So we left early so she can sleep in," "Oh," I open my heavy eyes to look at Luca who was standing on the steps. "Hey," He smiles as he sees me. "Hey, sleepy head," I close my eyes once again. "Do you want me to take her upstairs?" "No, I'm heading up to my office," I open my eyes and look at Dex. "We just got home. I'm tired," I say whi
WARNING SEXUAL SCENEShe stands up and walks into the bathroom. She goes to close the door but looks at me. I close my eyes. I hear the toilet flush and her footsteps in the room. I open my eyes to see her looking at me from the bottom of the bed. "Are you going to stand there the whole time?""I figured I would give you a chance to leave if you wanted to," I shake my head."I'm only going to leave if I don't get sleep," She nods and walks back over to me. She goes to cuddle me but I pull her on top of me. She looks up at me with a blush."I thought you weren't going to force me to?" I roll my eyes as I pull her up a little so she couldn't feel me under her. I wrap my arms around her and she lays her head down on me. I hum with satisfaction."Why did you tell Dex?" I ask. She looks up at me. She looks away from me and sighs."I was angry when I hear that you kissed her," She says honestly. I think about her answer before flipping us. She squeals. I hover over her and she looks up at m
Luca's P.O.VI look up from my laptop as I hear Olivia's bedroom door open. She goes to walk down the hall but stops when she sees me. She swallows harshly before walking down the steps. I look back at my laptop to watch the surveillance of the warehouse. "What are you doing up at three in the morning?" She asks as she walks into the living room. I switch rooms to look at. "Working," I mumble. She walks up to one of the chairs and leans on it. "You are always working. Why aren't you trying to sleep?" I sigh loudly and look up at her. "Did you need something from me or did you just want to bother me?" She looks away from me. "I just came down to get a glass of water," She mumbles while turning around. I look back at the computer. I hear her footsteps going toward the kitchen. My phone rings and I pick it up off of the table next to me. Dex's number pops up. "Yeah?" I ask as I answer it. "I took a look at the information you sent me earlier and I think we can agree that when I get
