It's A Mistake

Some minutes later, the doctor came out and asked to see Juliet in his office. He assured her that they'll try everything possible to revive her, that she shouldn't worry.

Juliet thanked him and left. When she got outside, she met Donatus waiting for her.

" Mteew!" She hissed and begin to walk to her car. Donatus followed her immediately.

She entered her car and shut the door , before he could make any attempt. Juliet accelerated the car and zoom off, leaving Donatus bewildered. He got into his car as well, and followed her. When they got home, the gateman opened the gate immediately and Juliet drove inside; followed by Donatus.

She alighted from the car and walk to the house.

" Juliet! Juliet!" Donatus called as he alighted from his car as well, but she ignored him and went into the house.

" What is the meaning of this?" Asked Donatus as he followed her to the house.

He went straight to the bedroom when he didn't find her in the sitting room. There she was, trying to take off her dress.

" Juliet what is the meaning of all this?" He asked glaring at her, but she didn't respond.

" Am I not talking to you Juliet? What the hell is wrong with you?"

" You are wrong with me Donatus, you're my problem. We just got married today and you want to strangle my daughter to death?

What has she done to you? I thought you'll be like a father to them? What has come over you? Why have you suddenly become heartless?" Juliet yelled and he bites his lips.

" You should've asked me what she did, before concluding that I'm heartless!

I mean......." He paused and gulped down, then continued. " You made it clear that she doesn't like me, and was even against our marriage. Then why is she poking her nose into my business? Or is that what you sent her to do?" Donatus asked.

"Send her to do what?" Asked Juliet.

" Send her to monitor me, cause I don't know where she got such courage from." Donatus said.

" Is that why you wanted to kill her? Because you think she's monitoring you?" Juliet asked.

" I don't think, listen clearly; I don't think she's monitoring. I know that she's monitoring me." Donatus said.

" You just broke my heart Donatus. I can't believe you can do that to my child. Yes, she doesn't like you. But why don't you make her to do so, instead of trying to kill her?" Juliet said.

" I wasn't trying to kill anybody. I was just giving her a warning, and I guess she'll obey." He replied.

" If their father was like that, definitely they would've been dead by now. Don't ever treat my kids that way. If you wanna give them a warning, use your mouth." Juliet said and head to the bathroom.

" One more thing!" She said as she stood beside the bathroom door. " Pray that nothing happens to her; cause if anything happens to my daughter, I won't take it lightly with you." Juliet said and pushed the door open.

" That sounds like a threat!" Said Donatus.

" You can take it as you want." Juliet replied and went into the bathroom, shutting the door at the same time.

" Hmmm......" Donatus grunts. " I never knew you can be this outspoken. Well, let's see." He said and begin to loosen his tie.

He took off his dress completely and head to the bathroom as well.

" What do you want?" Juliet asked the moment he entered the bathroom.

" Can't I be with my wife anymore?" Asked Donatus, with hands akimbo.

" So you knew that I am your wife, and you had the gut to do that to my daughter." Juliet said.

" Can we just...... Can we just forget about this. I thought we are done with this?" Donatus said.

" Forget about what exactly? My daughter is lying there in the hospital unconscious, and you're telling me to forget about it?

Like....." She scoffed and ruffle her hair, then shook it negatively. " Is this really you Donatus? You sound different from the one I know." Juliet said.

" Okay, I'm sorry for everything. I have accepted my wrong doings and I've apologized for it. Please forgive me." He said gently and moved closer to her.

" Stay where you are!" Juliet ordered angrily.

" But I've apologized." Donatus said and raised his brows. " What else do you want me to do?"

" It will be accepted when my daughter wakes. For now, no room for that! Now leave, I want to be alone." Juliet said and turned away.

" I say leave!" She said and turned to him again.

" What if I can't?" Donatus said and begin to walk closer to her again.

" Stay where you are Donatus, stop provoking me!" She yelled and stamped her feet.

" Am I?" He asked coldly and Juliet swallowed hard and fist her hands, thinking of what to do to him at that moment.

" I am human, and can make mistakes. It's in your place to correct me, and also my place to correct you. We are one now Juliet, you mustn't be heartless. Learn how to forgive. I don't like this new lifestyle you're trying to embrace. I mean it doesn't go well with me. Yes, I made a mistake by strangling her; but I did tell you that it's the way I usually gives people warni........."

" Not with my kids! I suffered to bring them up." Juliet chipped in, interrupting him.

" That's why I apologized. Am sorry Juliet. Am so sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel this way.

I didn't mean to get you hurt. I know you're so angry right now, and wouldn't ever want to see me; but can you do this for the sake of our love?" He asked and Juliet gulped down and fold her arms.

" Please......." He pleaded.

" Donatus can you just......." She trailed off as his lips landed on hers. He pulled out and kissed her again.

She didn't want to do this! She didn't even want him close to her anymore. She didn't want to touch him, at least until her daughter wakes.

But unfortunately, her emotions disappointed her. She grabbed his neck and deepen the kiss.

Donatus pushed her to the wall, and pinned her hands there. He kissed every depth of her, and untie the towel she's wrapping from her body.

" Ohh!" Juliet moaned as he begin to play with her clit.

" I love you baby." Donatus muttered.

" I love you too sweetheart." Juliet replied and he carried her into his arms and placed her in the bathtub.

Then spread her legs wider, and looked into her eyes. He leaned closer to her and took her lips again.

" Nelson! Nelson! Nelson!" Melody screamed as she saw the young man roaming about, as if he's looking for something.

" Nelson!" She called again and he turned swiftly to her.

" Melody!" Nelson said and begin to walk to her.

" Hi, I've been calling you for a while now." Melody said as they got closer.

" Am sorry, I didn't hear you." Nelson apologized. " Have you seen my sister?" He asked.

" Your sister, which of them?" Melody asked.

" I can't find any of them." Nelson said and glanced around.

" Don't tell me you've not heard it?" Said Melody with widened eyes.

" Heard what?" Nelson asked curiously.

" Hmmm......" Melody grunts and begin. " While I was speaking with your sister earlier, we saw a man with your stepfather and he's wearing a mask. We were surprised and we decided to approached them, but the man left immediately he saw us coming.

I was surprised, but then I asked Selina to asked your stepfather who the man is, and why he is wearing a mask. The moment she did that, your step father grabbed her hands and dragged her to the bathroom. That's where he tried to kill her by strangling her neck." Melody explained.

" What did you just say? He strangled my sister?" Nelson asked.

" Yes he did. He didn't even allow me to follow them. I did it secretly. So when I found out that that's what he's doing, I called your mother and she's able to stop him. Selina is in the hospital now as we speak. Your mother and sisters are there too." Melody said.

" I knew it! I knew that this man is evil, but my mother never listens. Now see what he's done. Just a little question and he wants to kill my sister? He must be mad! If anything happens to my sister, I swear I'll kill him." Nelson vowed.

" No don't say that Nelson." Melody cautioned.

" I have told you my mind and that's what I'll do." Nelson said and begin to walk away.

" Where are you going?" Melody asked.

" To the hospital, what is the location?" Melody asked.

" I wasn't told, so I don't know. Why don't you call your mother and inquire of it?" Melody asked.

" You're right!" Nelson said and brought out his cellphone and dialed Juliet's number.

The call went through, but she didn't pick.

" Damnit!" Nelson cursed and roughed his hair.

" What happened?" Melody asked.

" She's not picking." Nelson said. " You know what? Let me get home first." Nelson said and begin to walk to where he parked his car.

" I'll come with you!" Melody said and joined him.

When they got to where the car was parked, Nelson opened the car and they went in.

He accelerated the car and zoom off speedily.
