Or that little voice in his head that had been shouting at him for so many months to take her wherever he could, however he could? In the end, the case was the same, he had succumbed to her beauty, to her pure temptation, and everything she was made of.
Unbelievable! Yes, it was unbelievable what he did! But it was done and the worst part was that he didn’t regret it, no matter how much he tried to, he didn’t regret it.
Exasperated, Lucian leaned forward in the sink of that luxury bathroom and gave himself a couple of seconds. He looked at his reflection in the mirror and wasn’t able to recognize himself. He was shirtless, with the well worked abdomen exposed. The lines of his face were as perfect as the color of his eyes. What he was experiencing was something that he had never felt before. If only he could close his eyes and get back to California, being in front of his desk, working as always while she was in her room with her son, laughing and invading the house with their happiness.
Once again he closed his eyes. Maybe, in that way, he’d be able to wake up from that beautiful and desirable dream. But all he found was that beautiful image of that woman in his mind.
Like a black widow she was on that bed covered by thousands of thousands of bills, the work was left halfway when he succumbed to her. Just a little of the total percent of her body was covered in black; her breast in the perfect proportion, it was a lucky that they weren’t so big so couldn’t be confused with mountains, her flat stomach, her pair of long legs, her well-cared feet… Everything about her was perfect. Not to mention the sound that came out of her throat at the same time that he saw the way she arched her waist as giving herself to him. She was driving him wild, and he knew it when he couldn’t control himself anymore and tore apart the damn clothing that didn’t allow him to see more. He wanted everything of her, he wanted to enjoy every little centimeter of her, he just wanted to get drunk on her.
Lucian opened his eyes and turned on the water faucet, then took as much as he could and poured it on his face. He shook his head a little and then went to take one of the white towels and dried his face. He was nervous to see her again, yet he knew how to control himself. He was good at it, right?
As soon as he opened the door of the bathroom, he looked inside the room they had booked for the next 15 days that were going to be there. What was his surprise when he found that beautiful woman was no longer on the bed, but on the floor, wearing her white robe and picking up the bills to start her work again! Lucian smiled. It was unbelievable, that woman was unbelievable!
“Mr. Sadharthe?” She spoke.
“Yes, Miss. Madeline?”
“I kindly ask you to give me a couple of hours so I can have the report completed.”
Lucian smiled. He couldn’t believe that now she was showing him that face of hers when he thought he knew everything about her. An actress? Yeah, maybe that profession would work for her as well.
“Don’t worry, Madeline. Take your time,” he sighed heavily. “You know what? I think I’m going to go out and… and have a drink.”
Madeline stood up and without looking at him, she said, “you don’t have to leave your room, Mr. Sadharthe. I’m the one who should leave. I apologize for not finishing my work yet. Have a good night.” And without anything else to say, Madeline took the briefcase with the money and left. For the first time she didn’t care about the money that was left behind.
And once again she’d acted like nothing had happened, just exactly as that day when Lucian kissed her for the first time. Madeline was a good actress, there was no doubt about it. Even Lucian couldn’t believe that Madeline was able to manage herself so well that made him doubt about that night they had spent together for the first time. Was it a dream? Was it a damn illusion? He didn’t know.
Sick of it, Lucian sat on the bed, looking at the bills that covered the floor and those that were the same that covered the bed where he put the delicate body of a goddess. For the first time Lucian Sadharthe had everything. Money, power, the crown, and a queen.

In her respective room, Madeline couldn’t believe what she had done. As soon as she closed the door of her room once she was inside, she leaned on the closed door and sighed heavily. She couldn’t stop hearing that voice in her head that told her how stupid she had been for serving herself on a silver plate. But she couldn’t stop feeling that sensation that man left in her skin for every kiss he gave her. First, it was her neck, her collarbone, then he went down a little more. It had been enough with a kiss for her. She couldn’t help but arch when her insides ordered her to do so.
“No, no, I’ve been stupid. You’ve been stupid, Madeline! What the fuck is wrong with you?! He’s your boss, The Boss, come on! What’s wrong with you?!”
Madeline shook her head a little and then continued her way to her bed. What had happened was just a mistake, yes, a mistake as any other, a mistake as the one where she counted wrongly the bills that had been paid to Lucian and she thought 20 bills were missing.
Lucian Sadarthe, yes, Lucian Sadarthe was her boss, a two-faced man who was one by day and another by night. Lucian Sadharthe, a CEO by day and a mafia boss by night. Lucian Sadharthe was best known as Son of Hades. And Madeline had let the Son of Hades come into her depths, where her hell was also burning.
The deal was anything but what had just happened. Lucian was clear enough when he said he liked his business to work perfectly, and the only way it could be possible was not to mix work and private life even if they were living under the same roof. And she was clear enough when she claimed that all men were the same, they just knew how to conquer hearts and then destroy lives, so there was no way she could let another man into her heart.
But everything went down the drain when she saw pure temptation in Lucian’s eyes before he took off his shirt and let her see his well worked abdomen. His tan skin made her blood boil in desire. She wanted him to take her right there, and that was exactly when he tore apart her clothing and stroked her thighs, her waist, and back as he lifted her up and forced her to tangle her legs around his waist as he walked towards the bureau and put her butt on it to allow himself to look at that perfect body of a goddess. Everything about her, every single centimeter in her body was a wonder. Her breast, he never thought that size would drive him crazy, her flat stomach, he couldn’t believe that he would be dying to taste it until his tongue would get tired of it. If so. Madeline sighed again and then opened her PC to start her work again. If only it was too easy to concentrate on her work and stop remembering things.
Finally the son of a god had found out that he also needed a goddess to feel himself completed. The Son of Hades was finally a God. He had found his queen, his master mind, his last piece, his soul mate, and his goddess. And he was going to put her under his rules, of course, not before she put him under hers.
