Eamonn

“Get me more blades.”

A few meters from me was a dartboard that was stationed on the opposite wall from where I stood tipsy. I eyed the spot that I had targeted correctly a couple of times since I started throwing knives at it. There were four knives stuck to the middle of the dartboard. The actual darts I was to use to throw at the dartboard sat prettily on the wall cabinet beside it. The blade sticking to the dashboard looks just perfect at the very spot. I felt my blood boil hot this morning. It's not because of the heat in the room that I had locked myself inside; it is the feeling of anger surging through me. The protector who I had instructed to get more knives for me came back with three more, saying it was the last of them from where he got them from. I took one of the three he held and glared at the dashboard, toying with the flat surface with my index finger. The loud and chaotic voices in my head telling me to replace this blade I have in my hands with something ear

Manny “Child, keep up with that pace and you'll be mastering compelling in no time,” I stood beside the young hybrid giving in all her efforts to compel the young man she had just fed from. Her first attempt–the human who gave herself to be a corpse–was successful. Maybe due to the excitement on her first trial, she'd immediately lost the little I'd told her about being able to compel. “Mmm...I can barely keep up with it, my mind is set on a hold.” Ellie made a quick glance at me as I said, her nystagmus blue eyes held an unstable gaze with mine. Compelling had to do with two things, the mind and the eyes. The eyes is the portal that gives way to get the connection with the mind, with focus being the only key I would have doubt she will ever be able to compel anyone because of her issue but her first trial proved me wrong. I had instructed her to look into the eyes of the human–the human which I had casted a spell on to remain static. If she will be able to master it, it would be

Eamonn “I'm not taking that look on your face to be surprised. Oh, what, you thought I wouldn't pay you a visit after I've observed some mischievous activities that are supposedly your doing?” She glared at me so hard that it would be less of an irony to say I didn't feel the hard stare burning my skin. Of course I knew I was the last person she was ever expecting to see. Her home is just the way I'd left it 5 years ago. Dark.Spooky.The only thing that makes it a little less eerie is the mild scent of cinnamon coming from somewhere deeper in the house. She turned to her brother, who had his head bowed just after he welcomed me in, “Why did you have to bring him here?” she demanded, having felt betrayed by her brother. Twice.“Oh no, it's not any of his fault; I asked him to bring me here. Besides, I have what he loves dearly with me. He brings me to you or she dies,” I said calmly as I strode deeper into the room. I haven't come to her creepy old house to visit. No, that wouldn

Ellie Murray once told me there will be times I will lose control over my entire body. Where my brain will begin to lose authority over my body, and I will be left at the faith of impulsive actions. ‘You may or may not be able to fight the war that wages within you, but the tendency of being able to withstand the dark force behind such war will take to a step forward to being able to defeat those forces’ he said. In this case, the two uninvited entities were the dark forces. And their presence was the war, which I was trying to get hold of. In this box which was left with no choice but to get into, I feel with my whole being going savage and the four walls closing in on my heart. I have tried to heed to my godfather's words and contain myself from the moment I got into this box, just so I wouldn't get caught up with the lies my godfather had crafted and told. With no ventilation or a way to see through this box, it wasn't still a hindrance from letting my entire body recog

  • Two Kings for Ellie    Chapter 23

Ellie “Tell me. What sort of man defiles the trust his sister has for him to please his enemy?” “Manny, please hear me out…” Murray—still rooted by the door after the two guests were gone—pinched the bridge of his nose and blew out a sigh. He looked apologetic, but there was indeed nothing he could do or say that could clear his wrongs. From what I've understood between these old siblings, one never gets along with being betrayed, and the other—well, subconsciously does it anyways. “What kind of man could easily lay off tracks to let an enemy into his household? A selfish one, right? That is exactly who my brother is. Manny sobbed quietly as tears streamed down her eyes, her voice raspy as she wept softly. She gave no attention to Murray, who stood behind her, stamping his feet restlessly on the wooden floor. I tried to let go of the achy feeling that had been riling in my mind once the two kings were gone. Once my ex-mate and my near-death Boogeyman were gone. I saw this presen

Ellie “I've got to go get Isla from Eamonn's clutches.” Murray said as he swirled his hands in circles. A line of purple flame traced the path upon which his hands moved, forming a portal. I stared in fascination at how, with his eyes closed, he was able to make a perfect circle fire flame. I could barely draw a perfect oval with my fucking eyes wide open. “You see how focused he is?” Manny whispered in my ear beside me, “That's the only key to getting any task done, whether physical or magical.” We both left the human we were practicing on to stare at Murray, but the look on Manny's face was pride, the kind a teacher has when he's looking at his brightest student. “He does it perfectly like he was made for it,” I cheered. “If I was able to teach an Alpha soldier a little magic, even as he's of no witch's blood, I can as well do that with you, who had foreign blood running in your veins.” She points at my chest, “Who you are is in you…” She shakes her head slowly. “Your powers,

VanI pictured this year a little bit differently when it hit March. I thought carrying out my supposed task would be as easy as plucking the petals on the rose flower to extract the oil of sanctity. But no, it of course didn't turn out to be that way. I made a deadline for my task at hand, and from the look of things, it seems time is already slipping off my grip. I'm right here in the human world, sitting in the middle of an empty bar because the world—Shirlon, which I called home—was now polluted with the stench of her after my failed task. It has escalated to the point where I don't need to even think of her to feel her presence. I see the image of the fragile omega with my eyes closed. I can still see my reflection in her unsettled blue eyes. The horror in them as I promised her death. The death I promised her was given, but her death was unto a new life. A new life that has come to torment me. She has succeeded in polluting the air that I take into my cold lungs with the stenc

Isla It's dark and quiet in the prison yard. All that's been heard is the silent sobs of prisoners. Some innocent ones heaved for the fact that they were sent in here for crimes they had no hand in, some—in regret for their actions and the fact that they'll spend eternity behind Eamonn's bars. Aside from the sobs, there were the heavy clanking of the Grand clock and the distant chirping of crickets. I hauled myself up from the uncleaned bench—the only stationary object in the cell. I dusted the dirt off the back of my prison dress and looked over to the big old grand clock at a far opposite distance from my cell. The silver rays of the moonlight crept through the small high window and bounced on the clock, making it easier to decode the analog time to the digital. It's 9:45 pm.I see no need for placing a clock in a prison. And that's simply because I feel time is an I feel no one needs to know how long they are going to spend the rest of their lives in misery. Now stop bugging me; at least you're free of your duty for now.” I increased my pace, striding down towards the art room; my consort followed from behind. He knows he's trespassing, but he still does it anyway. It's how he thinks I've grown a lot of soft spots for him that he thinks he can't go unpunished if he eventually walks into my private lair without my permission. However, the hickey was only the visible surface of what actually went down. Yes, I did compel the bartender, but I didn't leave without giving her a bit of what she wished for; I used her perky titties as a joyride for my cock. Ellie “Try again. This time with your eyes closed.”“Now, levitate the orb.” Manny's voice fused into the background of my foggy mind. She would be so disappointed if she found out that I'm a mile away from being focused. For a long while she's devoted her time and energy to teaching me how to be me. The least I could do was to try and be a smart student that could easily pick up lessons from the start. “We are starting with something of little weight, and then we'd move into a much heavier one,” she took my hand in hers from behind and held it up to point towards the white feather lying on a small pillow that was five feet apart. For those who've become, you need to be much stronger to withstand the pressure that will be laid from the both kings; all begins with starting off from the littlest magic of telekinesis.” She lets go of my hanging arm.“Now, Ellie,” she says as she returns to stand behind me.My teeth clench.
