Chapter 4: The First Fortune

About half a month later, while I was working in the school cafeteria, I suddenly spotted Beatrice.

"Why are you working in the cafeteria?" Beatrice looked at me with some disdain.

I wasn't surprised that she could enter our school, considering we were twins and looked very alike. While I was occupied with my tasks, I responded casually, "Do you have a problem with me having this job?"

Beatrice snorted, "Such a disgrace. Finish up and meet me at the West Gate."

After that, she left with her boyfriend, who kept glancing at passing female students.

I knew why she wanted to meet me; it was probably about money. But I had no intention of giving her any. I had calculated it all out: with three part-time jobs now and some more during the winter break, I could save up enough for my sophomore year's tuition and living expenses. Then, I would work during the summer break to cover my junior year, and by the time I reached senior year, I could focus on internships.
