~Seventeen years later from where we last left off.Toma's POV:I watched the sun setting and felt excited for the night to come. Dmitri promised me a surprise tonight for turning twenty one. Having a vampire for my treasure means I've been celebrating my birthday twice instead of once since usually when he wakes up it's still my birthday until midnight. I could hear other vampires stirring in their beds. Kingsley decided to throw me a birthday ball to celebrate and everyone was here, including Silas with his mate and children. He had sixteen of them! Sixteen! Rei was surprised during the last birth- or so he told us the night before when he showed up to celebrate my birthday. Silas had given him a set of twins. I really feel spoiled for all the company I have to celebrate something so little as me hatching and Dmitri becoming my treasure. Two nights in a row ball for celebration of my birth is a bit too much but I'm over excited for it. I glanced around as the thought of Ross crossed
Unknown POV: I shook in fear as Quil's eyes caught me watching him from behind a tree. I had just managed to escape from them after they chased me for a mile. This tree was my usual hiding spot. "THERE HE IS!" Quil shouted to his other three friends. My high school bullies- my whole life had been dedicated to running away from these four- mainly Quil. Quil was the alpha male. He bullied everyone and his friends joined.... when he was out of school sick they were normal people... but with him around they did as he spoke. I heard the others should they were going to get me. "Come here faggot! I've got a surprise for you!" Quil pulled out a knife from his pocket. "I'm gonna gut you for causing me to run one extra mile that I planned today!" "Yeah! Get 'em Quil! We ran enough in gym for a whole horse in a track race!" Sammy shouted."Shut up idiot!" Quil snapped. "You sounded so stupid then.""Don't horses run miles in track races?" Chase asked with a questionable look on his face."HEY
I felt my back slam up against a wall, my head pounding with pain. I looked around and started to calm down from a panic attack. I'm okay, it's okay. I looked around the padded room and sunk against the squishy wall, landing back down in my sitting position. I looked down at the yellow straight jacket, the bright yellow being the only fun color about this place. I could feel an itch coming up my legs then, making me yelp and squirm to try to itch it. My whole body itched. I suddenly saw a reflection of me on the other side of the room staring at the corner of the wall, another of me looking at the door, another laid out in the middle, another resting on the bed. Whose the real me? I finally found myself pacing the small boxed in room. How long have I been in here!? "Let me out!" I begged and kicked at the door. I'm going insane in here! I paced the room with dread of being in here. Something like this place will make anyone go mad. A sane person mad and a mad person sane. I started
"Oh my lord! Fuck! I hit someone!" I heard a panicked voice. "Damn it..." I looked around for the voice. A silver haired male was looking me over worriedly. He suddenly exposed fangs and leaned in, biting into my neck. I let out a scream, fear taking me over. IT'S A VAMPIRE! I'M IN HELL! I'M IN HELL! He started to drain me then, pulling me close as he rubbed my arm. I'm going to die! "I don't want to die," I mumbled weakly. The vampire shushed me and then began to finish me off. He pulled back at the last second just when I felt like I was going to be finished and he looked me in the eyes and bit into his wrist, pressing it against my lips. "Drink," the vampire told me quickly. "NO!" I heard the demon fuming in the background, sounding pissed. "DON'T YOU DARE LAURENCE!" I looked towards the vampire, finding comfort and started to drink like he told me. "LAURENCE!" The demon screeched at me. "SPIT IT OUT!" I swallowed my first bit, moaning at the taste. "DAMN YOU! I'LL KILL YOU!" I
Laurence's POV:I sat up slowly in bed, I could feel the sun setting off in the distance as it was now dusk. I spent most of the day transforming into a vampire. I could still feel my body aching from the transformation I took on after an impact of a car crashing into me. A vampire had saved me last night. I let out a small moan as my fangs exposed and hunger struck me. I looked over at the sleeping vampire next to me and visualized him telling me his name, Silas Rosario. I could imagine him ordering off his phone for maids to bring us a bottle of blood. My eyes flickered to the straight jacket I had once been in as a human. I slipped my hands into my maker's pocket and pulled out his phone, using his thumb to unlock it. I scanned my fingers over the keyboard, telling a maid we'd need two bottles of blood. I sat his phone on his chest then stood up, my head stinging. I let out a small hiss as knowledge flowed through me at once of where I was, Silas telling me everything about the pla
Continuing With Laurence’s POV: I recognized them from my brief knowledge I took over. Lyle and Milo entered through the doors first. Milo glanced towards me and then looked at my hair and then at me. He gave me a huge smile and looked towards Silas before he bounced up. "Hi," he said sweetly. He smelled amazing... like a vampire but with the scent of human mixed in it, the concoction of a fledgling. "Milo," I purred. "My name is Laurence." I reached out to shake his hand. I thought about capturing his hand and dragging me to him, I could practically taste his blood in my mouth. He tilted his head then smiled, taking my hand. "Silas must've told you my name, huh? I doubt you read my books," he hummed out and shook my hand. "It's nice to meet you Laurence," he said innocently. "I'm actually quite familiar with your works Milo Tomas Young.... and I can't wait for the next one. The title is going to be breath taking." I told him with amusement. He blushed and then went to take his h
Continuing Laurence’s POV:"Charles~" He purred out happily, sitting up more as he reached for Charles. "How are you? You've been feeding well, right? Are you hungry? I can get you something." Charles gave a huge smile as he looked towards Silas. "Yeah, I'm a little hungry." He was as honest as he was told to be with Silas. "You don't have to get me something though, I'm headed to the kitchen when we finish-" His eyes drifted as he caught my smell. He eyed me down in shock and dropped his jaw slightly."You didn't...." Charles shook his head quickly. Silas looked a little guilty then. "I hit him with my car," he admitted and blushed. "I'm sorry Charles, but I couldn't let him die on the streets! He doesn't really need me either.... He already knows everything. He can see the past, present, and future, so he doesn't need me to teach him anything. You're not replaced." "I was too replaced!" Charles shouted. I held back a laugh as I could practically taste his jealousy. "No way! I pro
Unknown's POV:"He's going to be very valuable," I heard my captor purr. I growled from my cage and watched the shadows on the wall, cast by the people in the doorway to the dark room I was kept in. I don't know how long I've been in here... torn away from my home, my shrine. I wasn't sure what they wanted with me. All I know is that one night I was admiring the cherry blossoms under the beautiful moon in the garden and then I heard a gun go off... then my beautiful world became blurry, and I woke up in this cage in my most vulnerable form. I couldn't change back to my more powerful form, no matter how much I tried. My magic was useless, and I felt empty and cold. They had shackled my paws to the bottom of the cage to keep me from moving around too much. I watched as a man in a silver colored tux walked in front of my cage and smirked, his green eyes looking me over. "Oh yes, no doubt about it. He's definitely one of Inari's kitsunes. The masses will be crawling to get after him," he
