Laurence's POV:I sat up slowly in bed, I could feel the sun setting off in the distance as it was now dusk. I spent most of the day transforming into a vampire. I could still feel my body aching from the transformation I took on after an impact of a car crashing into me. A vampire had saved me last night. I let out a small moan as my fangs exposed and hunger struck me. I looked over at the sleeping vampire next to me and visualized him telling me his name, Silas Rosario. I could imagine him ordering off his phone for maids to bring us a bottle of blood. My eyes flickered to the straight jacket I had once been in as a human. I slipped my hands into my maker's pocket and pulled out his phone, using his thumb to unlock it. I scanned my fingers over the keyboard, telling a maid we'd need two bottles of blood. I sat his phone on his chest then stood up, my head stinging. I let out a small hiss as knowledge flowed through me at once of where I was, Silas telling me everything about the pla
Continuing With Laurence’s POV: I recognized them from my brief knowledge I took over. Lyle and Milo entered through the doors first. Milo glanced towards me and then looked at my hair and then at me. He gave me a huge smile and looked towards Silas before he bounced up. "Hi," he said sweetly. He smelled amazing... like a vampire but with the scent of human mixed in it, the concoction of a fledgling. "Milo," I purred. "My name is Laurence." I reached out to shake his hand. I thought about capturing his hand and dragging me to him, I could practically taste his blood in my mouth. He tilted his head then smiled, taking my hand. "Silas must've told you my name, huh? I doubt you read my books," he hummed out and shook my hand. "It's nice to meet you Laurence," he said innocently. "I'm actually quite familiar with your works Milo Tomas Young.... and I can't wait for the next one. The title is going to be breath taking." I told him with amusement. He blushed and then went to take his h
Continuing Laurence’s POV:"Charles~" He purred out happily, sitting up more as he reached for Charles. "How are you? You've been feeding well, right? Are you hungry? I can get you something." Charles gave a huge smile as he looked towards Silas. "Yeah, I'm a little hungry." He was as honest as he was told to be with Silas. "You don't have to get me something though, I'm headed to the kitchen when we finish-" His eyes drifted as he caught my smell. He eyed me down in shock and dropped his jaw slightly."You didn't...." Charles shook his head quickly. Silas looked a little guilty then. "I hit him with my car," he admitted and blushed. "I'm sorry Charles, but I couldn't let him die on the streets! He doesn't really need me either.... He already knows everything. He can see the past, present, and future, so he doesn't need me to teach him anything. You're not replaced." "I was too replaced!" Charles shouted. I held back a laugh as I could practically taste his jealousy. "No way! I pro
Unknown's POV:"He's going to be very valuable," I heard my captor purr. I growled from my cage and watched the shadows on the wall, cast by the people in the doorway to the dark room I was kept in. I don't know how long I've been in here... torn away from my home, my shrine. I wasn't sure what they wanted with me. All I know is that one night I was admiring the cherry blossoms under the beautiful moon in the garden and then I heard a gun go off... then my beautiful world became blurry, and I woke up in this cage in my most vulnerable form. I couldn't change back to my more powerful form, no matter how much I tried. My magic was useless, and I felt empty and cold. They had shackled my paws to the bottom of the cage to keep me from moving around too much. I watched as a man in a silver colored tux walked in front of my cage and smirked, his green eyes looking me over. "Oh yes, no doubt about it. He's definitely one of Inari's kitsunes. The masses will be crawling to get after him," he
Laurence's POV:Silas flipped our hoods over our heads and started to lead me inside, staying silent and looked picture perfect as he took us in. He's done this before... walking into an auction. I could tell. He never bought anyone though. He took us to where the majority of the people were going, seeing they were gathered in a room with a stage dimly lit, the people almost invisible in the darkness. He frowned and then led me closer to the stage as a man walked out on it, dressed in blood red robes that covered his entire body and hid his face. "Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you here today," the man purred and then flipped the hood back, revealing a man with blond hair that framed his face perfectly, curling around it. He smirked. "It's not everyday that we have a selection like we do now. I hope you all find this to your liking, and once you've won a bid, please step up the stage and go that way where you will pay and fill out the paper work so we can file it. Now, please enjoy~"
Continuing Laurence’s POV: "Well you're free now, you can go home to him. Keep that as a gift," I suggested. He looked towards the cloak then nodded before he looked at me and shifted nervously. "W-well... you see.... I don't know how to get home," he told me. "I've never been outside the shrine's gardens...." He blushed as he admitted it then rubbed the back of his neck. "I have no clue where I even am." "Well.... that'll be tough for me to get you home if you don't know...." I whispered. "It's cloudy for me too like I don't take you back." He whined and looked a little sad to hear it. "So... I'm not going home?" He asked me, frowning. "I won't be reunited with my master?" "Not until I figure out how to get you back," I told him. He whimpered but nodded. "Okay," he whispered then walked closer to me. "I'll stay with you until then. I owe you a lot for my rescue, so I'll stay by your side until it's time for me to go home." "Well let's get into the car before my demon comes bac
Continuation of Laurence's POV:Silas picked Toru out of my arms as we walked towards his study and held him close as Toru slept softly. "Alright... he should be waiting for us... and we need to tell him about the auction anyways," he told me and smiled. "We'll clean him up afterwards." Inside his study, Lyle had managed to get together the butler he was talking about as well as Charles and Pierre. Silas smiled as he lead me inside then shut the door. "Lyle," he purred happily and walked up to him then sat Toru's little form down on his desk. "Thank you for helping me out." "No problem.... So is that a fox?" Lyle asked and stood up, walking over and looked his frame over. "He looks like Inari's yokai," he mumbled. "Yeah, he's Inari's kitsune specifically," Silas told him softly. "He was being sold on a black market auction tonight, but Laurence and I busted it up and released all the missing werewolves and arrested the ones participating. We found him in the back where they had hid
Continuing Laurence’s POV: "We're here," Silas said as I felt the plane land. He smirked and got off the couch then looked towards Charles and Pierre, pulling out his wallet then gave Charles some money. "Have fun you too. Call me when you're done and you're ready to come back with us to Rei's castle. We're staying with him while we're searching. Laurence, Rei sent me a few addresses already for us to go search tonight to see if Toru recognizes any of the places, and I got our little group two cars. Charles, you get the red convertible." He gave Charles some keys and smirked. "Don't scratch it. It's rather pretty." He walked over to me and Toru then grabbed Toru's hand, pulling him to his feet. Toru yelped and stumbled into a standing position as he laid his ears back then looked towards one of the windows curiously. "It's kinda... not like I imagined the rest of Japan to look like.""Well, we are in Tokyo," Silas purred to him. "Come on, we're going to go check out these Inari shri
