(Jason’s POV)

I wouldn’t overstate it, but then it won’t be a lie either if I said all I could think about when I was in the office was about the date I would be going with Juliet. It reached a point where my secretary had to touch my arm before I jeered back to reality. She said I must have been long lost in thoughts, and yes, I was.

I re-checked the place I have booked for the date earlier today. Even that was a hard choice. I had to constantly suffer from the decision to see if going to sailing in Newport in Rhode Island would be better, or if I should take a hot air balloon ride in Albuquerque. In the end, I didn’t choose either of them. I ended up choosing the Grand Carousel Bar since it was closer, and I think, more elegant.

It was almost 6pm. I picked up my phone to briefly remind Juliet about the date again, and confirm her availability. For all I know, she might no longer be available, so checking in to confirm would be a wise thing to do.
