Too slow, bored

(Juliet’s POV)

“So, how far do you visualize your company in years to come?” Jason asked while we dug into the steak. It felt uncomfortable asking such questions during this time where we were supposed to say something romantic to each other, but I disregarded it and answered him.

“I have set my goals right from the onset. I started by being the biggest baker in the city, then the state, soon it will be the country. Then the continent and the world.”

“The world? Hmmm. Do you really think that’s possible? What do you intend to do to make that dream be realized?”

“It’s simple. I’ll just keep on doing what I’ve been doing.”

“And what have you been doing?”

“Being consistent and reasonable. It has helped me up to this stage. I want to believe it will keep on helping me.” I answered, focusing all my attention on the steak that was right before me.
