chapter one hundred and twenty-seven

Tyler POV

After everything I saw in that notebook, I could only do one thing: I went to Ethan's house. My hands clenched into fists when he didn't open, and in anger, I kicked it, breaking it from the outside, then I entered the living room. He was sitting in the armchair, with a bottle of whiskey beside him.

"Do you like what you saw, Tyler?" he asked, staring at the ceiling with a cynical smile on his lips.

I could have killed him right there, but I restrained myself. It won't be that easy for him; I'll make him suffer, I'll make him pay for betraying my trust.

"Why?" I asked, trying to contain my anger.

"I don't like you. It's as simple as that. I envy everything you have, and I don't think you deserve to achieve anything. You've always had everything handed to you, easily. That irritates me. You never had to work hard to get anything in life, unlike me!" he shrugged, indifferent, and placed the gun on the table.
