CHAPTER FIFTY ONE

I walked to go after Emily but I stopped, because he was right behind me. I turned back around and faced commander Albert, he had leaned on the door frame and had his hands crossed over one another.

"Having issues with your colleagues?" He asked.

I said nothing as I watched him, I was right not to trust him a little bit.

"With all due respect Sir. What the hell was that inside? Trying to rile Commander Jonathan up for what? Do you enjoy it? And I don't care what all these other people here think, but you and I know that I was following orders, I did all I can to make sure our act was sold and that was that. Nothing more. I would do it all over again if I had to do it. But next time, choose someone that has more than a buzz cut okay?" I asked.

I turned in my anger to walk back into the room, I was even thinking he would stop me but he never did. So I walked into the room and closed the door shut.

Karis sat tense on her mattress while Emily was already lying down, but I knew from the te
