They arrived late into the night. It was about midnight, the sky was dark out and everywhere was quiet. The only noise to be heard was the sway of the leaves in the forest.We had gone as far as taking care of the candles so that not even a speck of light could be seen from outside.They must have notified Commander Albert of their arrival because he just walked out of the bedroom where he had stayed and out through the side door into the evening. It was a while before I heard conversations reaching my ear. Karis was talking to someone in the front, so I didn't think twice as I slipped into the house. It was late and I couldn't see clearly, so I turned on my Alpha mode, it made my sight sharper and clearer. I went through the house as fast as I could, slipping from one room to another.
