CHAPTER FIFTY FOUR

I spent the rest of the day indoors with karis, her temperature running hot then cold. She was having a fever, a sign that she was recovering and that her body was trying to get better.

Most of the guys had already come to see her and they had gone. I was still in the room in the evening with Emily and Anthony, both had fallen asleep on the bed while I lay quiet on the couch.

"Commander Susan is here. Wake them up" said Achu as he poked his head through the door before retreating.

"Guys. Wake up. Get up" I said tiredly as I shoved at them with my foot

I saw that they were awake before I conveyed the message to them, then

got up and left.

Commander Susan was the old woman we had met earlier on the elevator, and she looked as elegant as she had earlier. She was walking around the apartment looking at stuff, almost like a supervisor here to look around and supervise.
