CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

Stella was awoken by the continuous knocking on her door. She woke up with an unhappy face murmuring to herself. "Just when I'm enjoying my beauty sleep, it has to be interrupted by someone." She opened the door to see one of the maids standing there and smiling her. She smiled back with a questioning look on her face. "Big Madam please boss needs you downstairs and he said I shouldn't return if you're not with me." She said making Stella scoff. "That bastard. He has the nerves after what he did." She whispered to her own hearing. She wanted to refuse but seeing the maid's face, she knew there was more to what David said. "Fine, let me quickly wash my face. I'll be right back." She said and went inside to wash her face after she came outside and followed the maid downstairs. " David King did you in anyway threaten the maid with her job because you knew that I wouldn't come downstairs?" She asked and David proudly answered her.
