As we all walk up onto the stage, everybody grows silent. They all know that this is going to be a big announcement. Many are whispering about babies and the fact that that has to be what this party is all about. What they have not realized yet is that there is so much more to this party than just a baby."Alright, everybody, thank you all for coming on such short notice. We decided on a whim to throw this party to share our joy and excitement with you all. I know that we have been keeping things a little cryptic all day but there is a reason for that. Sometimes, news is just too big to keep telling over and over. Sometimes, it needs a big announcement. That is what this is. Are you all ready to hear all of the new stuff that is happening around here?" He shouts to the crowd.They all scream back at him excitedly. They all have pretty much guessed the main idea of some of this party but nobody has been able to guess the entire thing. We are going to have to help them out on that one.

"Alright, if everybody could please calm down once more. There is yet another announcement that I would like to make. One that I am just as excited about." Dante says as he walks towards the front.He motions for me to join him. Reaching out a hand, I make sure that they all remember that we are united. We have been ever since we first became mates. It is something that is not going to change. Even if some of those in the pack might have an issue with how everything is changing since I came along."Some of you have been guessing that our Luna has conceived a child. It is my sincerest pleasure to say that yes, she has in fact been blessed with a child by our Goddess. So now we have two pups on the way!" Dante announces excitedly.Everybody cheers even louder than before if that is possible. I find myself blushing as everybody cheers on my pregnancy. Werewolves always celebrate new pups but I have never before seen a Luna's pregnancy be announced. Maybe this is how packs always react? S

"Laina, Laina!" I hear from behind me on my way to Scarlett's later that week.Turning around, I find Elle running after me looking frantic. I have not seen her look this disheveled since Scarlett went into labor and she was asking if she could come and help. It must be important if she is this disheveled and looking for me. "I am glad I caught up with you. I found him!" She says with her eyes shining brightly.With how excited she is I have no doubt in my mind who she is talking about. There is only one person that she wished to see this much. Only one person that she knows I am just as keen to see as she is. Does this mean that I will finally get to see him soon? Will I finally get to know my father again? Will he remember me?Excitement swirls in my belly as think of everything that I have been wanting to ask him. "What am I supposed to do if they are at war? Are they even going to let me get close?" I ask her incredulously."I would suggest that you approach this as a pack's Luna instead of as a Hybrid. You are both witch and werewolf so you can easily get in. You just have to be a Luna instead of a kick ass witch as well." She suggests. "I am getting awfully tired of having to hide half of myself. That is not how I want to introduce myself to people anymore. I am proud of who I am." I tell her."That is good and all but what is more important right now? It is not like you are completely lying to anybody. You are just only telling them a partial truth. Once you get closer you can find a way to break the news." Elle reminds me. "You have a point. Do you think that you could meet with Dante and I later? We can go over a plan on how to proceed." I ask."Yes, I can do that. I will finish gathering all of the information I can before I meet with you guys. Dinner then?" She asks me."Sounds good.

After unloading all of my feelings onto Scarlett, I find myself feeling much lighter than I had before. I can think clearer and focus on what all I have to do. I know that I have to go and meet him and there is no way around hiding part of me from the rest of the pack. When I walk towards the witch house, I am happy to see that Hazel and Jade are both out by the lake, working on some of their magic. Even though they are no longer novices, they have both been going at their training with renewed purpose. They train just as much now as they did before. It is nice to see them working so hard at the parts of being a witch that they truly love. It is even better to see that neither of them has really tried to focus on combat and has instead chosen to explore other areas of their training that they have been lacking in.They both wave to me as I walk by and I smile in return. When I get closer to the house, I see that there are some Novices also out practicing by the corner of the house. W

"So, the way that I see it, we send them a notice saying that we are stopping by to check on their pack. They will have no reason to suspect that there is anything else going on. It can come off as being a political move. Nothing more than one alpha visiting another." Dante says as we talk things over."I just do not want them to see me and assume that we are instantly their enemies. What if they know who I am?" I worry aloud. "We can show up in our werewolf forms. Lots of packs travel that way since it is easier. We will just transform from that form once we reach the boundary." Kevin puts in."Kevin, you will have to stay here with the pack. We will need you here in case anything goes wrong. Besides, your new mate would not be welcome and you should really stay with her." I am so filled with nerves after our meeting that I cannot quite relax for the night. Even after Dante tries to wear me out I find myself unable to sleep. After tossing and turning for a few hours I decide to get up. It might be time to go and do something that I have still been managing to put off. Showing up at this time might even help give me an advantage.Walking down the stairs, I find that everybody is asleep. Normally witches sometimes stay up to worship the Moon Goddess when she is in the sky but tonight fortune favors me as I make my way over to the stairs leading to Morden's room. Taking a deep breath, I begin the walk down the stairs.Before I even reach out to knock on the door I hear her say, "Come in."My brows raise in shock as I open the door and walk inside. There are candles lit everywhere in the room. I expected her to be asleep like everybody else but instead she is sitting cross legged on the ground surrounded by white candles."What are you doing at this time of

After talking to Morden, I found that I was able to sleep much better. It might not be the best idea to send her somewhere where she could give away some of our secrets. Still, I have to give her the option to prove to me that she is trying to become a better person. Staying in her room is not healthy for her or even for myself.Dante did not rouse at all when I was gone or even when I got back into bed. He must have been tired after the day that we had. It was quite a shock to learn that the pack that my father is in is at war with witches. Then, to try and find a way to get in without anybody realizes who I am is a bit problematic. He tries not to show me but he is worried about me again. With me being pregnant he has been a worried mess. Now that we are planning to go and visit this other pack he is even more nervous. Somehow, I keep finding ways to put myself into danger which is really putting a damper on his mental state.When we wake up I cannot help but smile at him. He looks
