I am so filled with nerves after our meeting that I cannot quite relax for the night. Even after Dante tries to wear me out I find myself unable to sleep. After tossing and turning for a few hours I decide to get up. It might be time to go and do something that I have still been managing to put off. Showing up at this time might even help give me an advantage.

Walking down the stairs, I find that everybody is asleep. Normally witches sometimes stay up to worship the Moon Goddess when she is in the sky but tonight fortune favors me as I make my way over to the stairs leading to Morden's room. Taking a deep breath, I begin the walk down the stairs.

Before I even reach out to knock on the door I hear her say, "Come in."

My brows raise in shock as I open the door and walk inside. There are candles lit everywhere in the room. I expected her to be asleep like everybody else but instead she is sitting cross legged on the ground surrounded by white candles.

    After talking to Morden, I found that I was able to sleep much better. It might not be the best idea to send her somewhere where she could give away some of our secrets.     The teenagers did, in fact, try to have a party that the patrols were more than happy to put a stop to. Instead of the patrols ousting themselves and making them go back, they instead used their cunning and managed to scare them. They forgot the fact that there are no creatures bigger than us werewolves in the area and managed to allow themselves to get spooked and headed back to their campsites instead.     Our break for lunch was not nearly long enough for Amora's liking. I, on the other hand, cannot wait to move forward. I am determined that we are going to be able to camp within a couple of miles of the Luminescence Creek pack by nightfall. I do not want the witches to catch us before the pack is able to see us."We need to get going. I know that you would like some more rest but we need to get going if we are going to make it there on time." Dante says through an open mind like between the three of us."I know.     The cave that we were pointed to is just roomy enough for us all to be able to lay comfortably inside.     After obsessing over what I have going on the following day for a few hours, I finally manage to pass out. My awareness is still stretched out to the max so that I am able to keep an eye on everything, even in my sleep. I only got woken up once when a pack of wild coyotes come into the area. They must have been familiar with werewolves though because as soon as they caught our scent, they steered clear of us. I awoke early enough to see the sun rise in the distance. It is an absolutely gorgeous display of pink and orange. Hopefully, this is a sign that the day is going to go well.     "I thought that my head of security asked you to wait until we came for you?" The Alpha says to us sharply. "I am sorry. My mate here is pregnant, she just needs to rest and get some proper nourishment. We planned to wait but she got so uncomfortable that we had to come and talk to you earlier." Dante explains with a gesture to me.I still have not taken my eyes off my father although I have managed to school my expression better.     When the Alpha finally comes back, he brings bags of food. There are sandwiches, chips, cashews, and drinks. It looks like he just came back from the store. Where the store is though, I have no idea. He did not actually leave the building as far as I could tell. Then again, I was a little too focused on my father to focus on what the Alpha was doing. "I brought you back what I could find. I would love to offer you a warm meal but I am unable to do it at this time. I am sorry but things are not going well here."     My father stares mutely at me for a bit before finally shaking himself out of it. Literally, too. He shakes his head slightly before he is able to say anything."I was really hoping that you would not say that. We can not allow any magic users in this pack.     It did not take long at all for the Hybrid Council to arrive. They all file in looking a little shocked to see Simonetta there, unable to use her magic as she floats slightly in the air.     Simonetta rushes towards me using wind to guide her speed. It is not enough to throw me off guard though and I shove a wall of dirt up in front of me. She almost crashes into it before she is able to skid to a stop at the last second.     Each team splits up and gets ready to make their way through the obstacle course. They are all going to have to take turns trying to make it through safely. Each team has a designated amount of time before they get elminated. The one that makes it through the fastest and with the least amount of mistakes, will be the ones to win the competition. The course is very similar to the one that we did with the entire pack when we first started training. The one that really got the women moving faster as they fought to make good time through the course to beat the men. This one is just a little more geared towards children and not fully grown adults.Some of the obstacles are smaller to better accomodate their size, some things are closer together and they have even added some new obstacles that would have been difficult for the adults.     It takes much longer than planned to get the babies ready for travel. I have never packed a diaper bag before but luckily Scarlett shows up to help me get them ready and squeal over the twins for a minute.     The first night with the babies was quite a bit of a learning curve. Whenever we put them in their bassinets they just started to cry nonstop until we picked them up again. It took a couple of hours to find out that if we put them into the same bassinet they were able to sleep peacefully and not wake us up.
