She whirls out of the door, slamming it behind her. Sniffling, she looks up in surprise at me.

"I did not realize that you were there. How long have you been there?" She asks me.

Walking down the final steps I cannot help but smile at her. That had to be one of the hardest things that she has ever had to do and yet she got it done. It might not feel like it yet but she said what needed said. Now, she just needs a friend and then her new mate.

"Long enough to hear some of the conversation. I am sorry, I did not mean to pry on that. I heard that you were coming to talk to her and I thought that you might need backup." I said guiltily.

"Thank you. I don't think that backup really would have helped me in there. She seems to open up more to me since she thinks that she can control me still." Julia said.

"No, you did not need me because you needed to say all of that and you would not have if I had been in there with you. There is a lot that is harder to say in front of others even when the
