After the Council members make their exit I turn to Elle with a brow raised. She watches the door for a while before turning back to me. We both take a look at the rest of the Coven watching us closely before continuing. I do not want the wrong Coven members to gain information that could be used against me in any way.

"You handled that very well. It is quite shocking that they did not attack you the moment that you said you are a hybrid. That is certainly what I had been expecting. I will take this though. This way we have a chance. A chance to prove to them that you are blessed as you are." Elle says.

"That is true. I think I might have shocked them too much for them to respond right away. If I allow them to get their bearings then they might change the way that they are handling things. We will just have to try to keep them on their toes at all times." I tell her.
