I try to mingle with the witches while they are eating their pizza. Considering that I am the only one that is not full witch and that eats meat I got a supreme pizza for just me but for some reason some pieces keep coming up missing. Seems odd when I am surrounded by witches but I guess that it is possible that one of them likes meat. After all, Elle did have some jerky hiding in her closet at her old cottage.I walk over to the group that has the pond that I have been eyeballing the most. Moving on to the other three ponds. They all have some aspects that I am looking for but are missing others. One is the perfect picture of functionality. It has the right plant life and room for plent of fish. The water is crystal clear and perfect as well. This one is just missing the majestic, picturesque aspect that I would like to see as well. The next one would by all means favor wildlife but the plant life is not quite where I would hope it to be. It is decent to look at as it has some boulders that are placed rather strategically but it is definitely not as pretty as I would like. The last one has this gorgeous black sand that makes the water look darker. There is a decent amount of plant life and a few small boulders surrounding it but still missing something. Overall each team seems to have done a decent job but none of them have quite gotten to the mark. It is going to be difficult to pick a winner as none of them have fulfilled all of the tasks that I set before them. On

The witches are all distracted with gossip when I leave the kitchen again. I have no idea what else I could do with the witches to keep them busy for the rest of the day so I guess it is time to head back to the pack for a while. I smile and wave to a few of the witches as I pass by. Preparing for the Witch Council to visit is not an easy task. I have to make sure that they have accomodations, a private kitchen and I have to make sure that the witches are all ready for their visit as well. We want to prove that we are a completely competent Coven so we also want to make sure that we have classrooms ready for our novice witches to practice in. There is a huge list of things to get done before they show up. It would be nice if we had a more set time than a week's window. Elle is working on making the classrooms with some of the girls while I am working on the quarters for the council. Seeing as how I have never been in a tradition witch's classroom it makes more sense for me to work on their living quarters. Even though we went to the store with every intention of getting stuff for the Witch Council we somehow managed to spend just as much money on the baby. He might have all of the essentials but I definitely went on a spending spree for him. He has an entire wardrobe to grow into as well as tons of toys that he cannot even play with yet. It did not take long at all for the Hybrid Council to arrive. They all file in looking a little shocked to see Simonetta there, unable to use her magic as she floats slightly in the air. Simonetta rushes towards me using wind to guide her speed. It is not enough to throw me off guard though and I shove a wall of dirt up in front of me. She almost crashes into it before she is able to skid to a stop at the last second. Each team splits up and gets ready to make their way through the obstacle course. They are all going to have to take turns trying to make it through safely. Each team has a designated amount of time before they get elminated. The one that makes it through the fastest and with the least amount of mistakes, will be the ones to win the competition. The course is very similar to the one that we did with the entire pack when we first started training. The one that really got the women moving faster as they fought to make good time through the course to beat the men. This one is just a little more geared towards children and not fully grown adults.Some of the obstacles are smaller to better accomodate their size, some things are closer together and they have even added some new obstacles that would have been difficult for the adults. It takes much longer than planned to get the babies ready for travel. I have never packed a diaper bag before but luckily Scarlett shows up to help me get them ready and squeal over the twins for a minute. The first night with the babies was quite a bit of a learning curve. Whenever we put them in their bassinets they just started to cry nonstop until we picked them up again. It took a couple of hours to find out that if we put them into the same bassinet they were able to sleep peacefully and not wake us up. By the time we managed learning that, I was beyond exhausted and ready to sleep. Chelsea comes running in once the babies start to cry for food. Her face is filled with excitement as she rushes over to me. Even though they are hungry, I allow her to hold and rock Caterine while I first feed Archer. I might get good enough to be able to feed them both at once in the future but for now feeding just one is tricky.
