"What do you mean I can claim a room? I am staying with Kevin now." She tells me like I have offended her.

"I know you are but you never know when you either want some time apart or you might find yourself craving the company of some witches. You are a member of my family and you are always welcome here. Even if you only use the room once a year it is yours." I tell her.

"I will think on it if you don't mind. I definitely had not planned on staying a single night here ever. I understand what you are saying. It is just that after everything that happened between the witches and me I do not see myself spending much time here ever. There were a few witches that were in training with me that I thought were rather decent though." She tells me.

After thinking for a moment I ask, "Those witches that were decent, they don't happen to be Hazel, Jade and Sage do they?"

Looking bewildered at my comment she says, "Yes, actually, they are. How did you know that though?"

    The witches are all distracted with gossip when I leave the kitchen again. I have no idea what else I could do with the witches to keep them busy for the rest of the day so I guess it is time to head back to the pack for a while. Somebody has to be able to make sure that all of the Covens are falling the rules that keep us witches safe. They must have learned that you took over the Coven.     "You seemed pretty distracted all throughout dinner. Everything okay?" Dante asks me later on as we are getting into bed."More bad news. More possible threats.     Preparing for the Witch Council to visit is not an easy task. I have to make sure that they have accomodations, a private kitchen and I have to make sure that the witches are all ready for their visit as well. We want to prove that we are a completely competent Coven so we also want to make sure that we have classrooms ready for our novice witches to practice in. There is a huge list of things to get done before they show up. It would be nice if we had a more set time than a week's window. Elle is working on making the classrooms with some of the girls while I am working on the quarters for the council. Seeing as how I have never been in a tradition witch's classroom it makes more sense for me to work on their living quarters. Plus, I can make all of their rooms in the same amount of time that it takes the others to make the classrooms.Not wanting to offend them by making too simple of bedrooms, I follow the pattern that we used through the rest of the house into their rooms.     Even though we went to the store with every intention of getting stuff for the Witch Council we somehow managed to spend just as much money on the baby. He might have all of the essentials but I definitely went on a spending spree for him. He has an entire wardrobe to grow into as well as tons of toys that he cannot even play with yet. Luckily Dante is loaded or else there is no way that this would have worked otherwise. Since the witches regard children differently than they do grown ups, I take Scarlett and Ulfred with me to unload all of the supplies. When I pull up Hazel and her group of friends walk out to help me but stop short when they see Scarlett get out and walk over to Ulfred.     As one all of the doors on the vehicles open up and feet slide out. Even though they required 5 rooms there are more than that number of occupants. Each one has an elegant shoe followed by an equally elegant persona. They all have matching black closed toed shoes that look recently polished but that is where the similarities end.The first lady steps out slowly wearing a pencil skirt suit and looking all business. Her hair is a raven black, she has high cheek bones and forest green eyes. Something about her demeanor and the way that she moves tells me that she is in charge.     For dinner I decide that I will order some Italian food from the restaurant that Dante and I have enjoyed so much. We will make our own salads for each person with vegetables out of our now thriving garden. Each of the witches in the Coven come in to help me prepare all of the food that we are going to be eating. They also make sure to set the table with dishes so that everything is ready and as close to formal as I have ever eaten.Dante is still not too thrilled about not joining us for dinner since I have not broken the news to the Council yet.     There is a shocked silence in the room after I reveal my heritage. It is almost deafening just looking around at all of them staring at me in silence.     It did not take long at all for the Hybrid Council to arrive. They all file in looking a little shocked to see Simonetta there, unable to use her magic as she floats slightly in the air.     Simonetta rushes towards me using wind to guide her speed. It is not enough to throw me off guard though and I shove a wall of dirt up in front of me. She almost crashes into it before she is able to skid to a stop at the last second.     Each team splits up and gets ready to make their way through the obstacle course. They are all going to have to take turns trying to make it through safely. Each team has a designated amount of time before they get elminated. The one that makes it through the fastest and with the least amount of mistakes, will be the ones to win the competition. The course is very similar to the one that we did with the entire pack when we first started training. The one that really got the women moving faster as they fought to make good time through the course to beat the men. This one is just a little more geared towards children and not fully grown adults.Some of the obstacles are smaller to better accomodate their size, some things are closer together and they have even added some new obstacles that would have been difficult for the adults.     It takes much longer than planned to get the babies ready for travel. I have never packed a diaper bag before but luckily Scarlett shows up to help me get them ready and squeal over the twins for a minute.     The first night with the babies was quite a bit of a learning curve. Whenever we put them in their bassinets they just started to cry nonstop until we picked them up again. It took a couple of hours to find out that if we put them into the same bassinet they were able to sleep peacefully and not wake us up.
