The first pack dinner since I have been back is really exciting. All of the wolves seem to be in a much better mood than they had been in before. When the fear of a witch attack was always present, the wolves were much more subdued and on guard than they are now. I have not been to help the witches in a few days so I am a little worried about what they have managed to accomplish while I was away. I know that they have not been giving the contractors too many problems since they report to me each day. That does not mean that they have been working well together by any means either.When I arrive, I am happy to see that the garden is doing extremely well. They have been tending it almost nonstop and coaxing plenty of life out of it. They have begun planting flowers now and it looks like there is even a little flower garden in the back for them to relax in. Inside, the domed room is almost complete. The lake is nice and peaceful when we arrive. Thankfully nobody is here hanging out since most are enjoying a family day today. Werewolves almost always spend the weekends with their immediate families instead of training for the weekend. The kids are not the only ones that deserve the day off. Since there is nobody else here, I find myself drawn to the water's edge. Nothing is disturbing the surface as I watch small waves caused by the wind to move across the water. Why would this fish have the same colored scales as my hair and all of the forms that I can shift into? It can't really be a coincidence could it? Surely it has to mean something. As I watch it float at the top of the lake I am sure that there is something that is connecting the two of us. There has to be. The arapaima is even more massive underwater. it is solid muscle but it regards me in a way that I can only consider to be friendly. The last I knew the closest place to find an arapaima was in South America but maybe this one has just been forgotten here for years. The wolves would have never thought to hunt any fish so it would have been relatively safe. I get close enough to be able to touch it before I slow down. I am still underwater with my pocket of air but I am no longer afraid that it is going to drag me down. Instead, I slowly reach out a hand and lay it on it's side. If this were a normal fish then I would have either been attacked or else it would have fled to deeper water. With this one, I am able to run my hand all of the way down it's side as I feel ever muscle coiled and moving to keep it in one place. Dante is still understandably weary of the fact that I have a familiar that is a fish the size that it is. When I told him all that it would be able to do he is beyond shocked at it all. He does not want me going back unless either he or Elle are with me until we learn more about it. I have no doubts that I am safe with it but I still tell him that I will wait for one of them to accompany me before heading back.Today, I am going to start training the first batch of teenagers and their parents on some survival skills. I want to start working on getting them to be able to live on their own in the woods for a week as soon as possible. This is a necessary skill that they should have all been learning before now.The first group of teenagers are the ones that are going to be coming of age at the end of the month. The parents are going to be learning the information at the same time as the teenagers so that they know that their children are going to be safe in the woods. Each parent will w

For my private quarters, I am planning to have a nice sized chamber for my entire family to be able to use and then a few rooms connected to it. The largest will, of course, be for myself and Dante while the others will be for any children and grandchildren that we might one day have. Each bedroom will have a private bathroom as well so that there will be no squabbles later on.What I do not tell the witches is, there is also going to be a security room that the contractors are going to help me set up so that I can keep an eye on things even when I am not at the location. There will also be a lot of training areas that will specifically focus on things that only a witch/wolf hybrid is able to do. The library is going to be the first room up the stairs and then passed that is going to be our quarters. We are going to have it set up so that only blood relatives are able to walk through the first door without being invited. After that, each person will have the same thing for their priva
